If your Amazon Prime settlement payment is missing, contact the settlement administrator—not the FTC—at SubscriptionMembershipSettlement.com, admin@SubscriptionMembershipSettlement.com, or 1-888-999-8094. The administrator handles individual payment and eligibility questions. Eligible refunds are being sent automatically by check, PayPal, or Venmo; the FTC says they should arrive by April 2027.
How to check a missing Amazon Prime settlement payment
- Check the possible payment destinations. Review your mail and the PayPal or Venmo account you use. The FTC lists mailed checks, PayPal, and Venmo as payment methods; a payment may be easy to miss if you no longer use the relevant account or address. Current details are on the FTC Amazon refund page.
- Contact the administrator for your individual status. Use the contact details published by the FTC: SubscriptionMembershipSettlement.com, admin@SubscriptionMembershipSettlement.com, or 1-888-999-8094. Ask whether a payment was issued, which method was used, and what to do if it was lost or cannot be redeemed. The FTC’s consumer advice article directs missing-payment and portal questions to the administrator.
- Ask promptly about an issued payment you cannot use. The FTC says payments expire 60 days after issue. Contact the administrator about a lost, expired, misdirected, wrong-name, or unredeemable payment rather than assuming it will be replaced.
Public FTC pages explain the program but cannot show whether your specific payment was issued, where it was sent, or how the administrator decided your case. You need the administrator to check those details.
What to tell the administrator
State whether you expected an automatic payment or submitted a claim, when you received any notice, and whether you were expecting a check, PayPal, or Venmo payment. If a check may have gone to an old address or under a different name, explain that too. Ask whether the payment is pending, issued, accepted, expired, or otherwise unresolved, and what action—if any—is needed.
Do not send sensitive account information in response to an unsolicited message. Use the administrator’s contact information published by the FTC to start the conversation.

Are payments still being sent?
Yes. According to the FTC’s September 2026 refund-page update, eligible refunds are being sent automatically and should reach eligible customers by April 2027. The FTC reported that Amazon had issued more than $845 million in refunds by September 2026. A revised process adds automatic payments for eligible consumers who used 11–20 Prime benefits; those payments are scheduled to start October 1, 2026. The FTC says no new claim or form is generally needed for these automatic payments.
The payment process can differ depending on where a person was in the program:

That group included people with approved or invalid claims and some who did not submit a claim. For your own status, ask the administrator.
- Possible supplemental payment: The revised order allows for additional payments in some circumstances. The FTC says a possible additional amount of up to $149 may depend on later distribution conditions, including whether a payment threshold is reached. The court order provides for potential pro rata payments starting by the end of April 2027. These are possibilities, not a guaranteed payment date or amount for every person.
The FTC describes the total settlement as $2.5 billion, including up to $1.5 billion in consumer redress and a $1 billion civil penalty. Those settlement totals do not determine an individual consumer’s payment.
Who may qualify for a refund?
The FTC’s September 2026 guidance describes potential eligibility for U.S. Amazon Prime customers who signed up through a challenged enrollment flow, or tried but could not cancel online, between June 23, 2019 and June 23, 2025, and who used no more than 20 Prime benefits in any 12-month period after enrollment.

How much could the payment be?
The FTC says the revised program allows up to $200 total in subscription-fee refunds per eligible consumer. Earlier phases were capped at $51, and a possible additional amount of up to $149 depends on the revised distribution conditions. The maximum is not a guaranteed payment: individual amounts and any additional distribution depend on the program’s rules and circumstances.

Treat unsolicited demands for fees, money transfers, or sensitive information as warning signs. To verify a payment or message, contact the administrator through the details on the FTC refund page, rather than using contact information in an unexpected message.
