Neither Logitech nor Creative is automatically better. The right choice depends on the exact models and your setup: consider Logitech’s Z407 if you want a 2.1 system with a subwoofer and wireless control dial; consider Creative’s original Pebble for a compact, USB-powered 2.0 setup, or its T60 if you need more wired computer-audio connections. Those are differences in fit and features—not proof that one brand sounds better.
Compare models, not brand names
Both companies sell speakers in several configurations. Logitech’s US catalog includes stereo, 2.1, gaming, portable, and surround products, while Creative’s range includes Pebble, T-series, Sound Blaster, and Stage models. A brand-wide verdict would blur meaningful differences in connections, controls, size, and whether a subwoofer is included. See the Logitech US speaker catalog and Creative speaker catalog for their respective ranges.
Start by listing the source devices you need to connect, whether you want a subwoofer, how much desk space you can spare, and whether you prefer wired controls or a wireless dial. Then compare exact models available in your region at current prices.
How the documented models differ
| Model | Configuration and connections | Controls or other useful details | Potential fit |
|---|---|---|---|
| Logitech Z407 | 2.1 system; Bluetooth 5.0, micro-USB, and 3.5 mm inputs | Wireless control dial; 40 W RMS total, including a 20 W RMS subwoofer and two 10 W RMS satellites; 80 W peak, as stated by Logitech | A desktop setup where a subwoofer, multiple source options, and wireless volume and bass control are priorities |
| Logitech Z313 | 2.1 system; one 3.5 mm input | Wired control pod; 25 W RMS total, including a 15 W RMS subwoofer, as stated by Logitech | A simpler wired setup using a headphone-jack source |
| Creative Pebble (original) | 2.0 desktop speakers; USB power and 3.5 mm analog audio input | 4.4 W RMS and 45-degree elevated drivers, according to Creative’s 2016 datasheet | A compact desktop setup where USB power and a simple analog connection suit the intended use |
| Creative T60 | 2.0 computer speakers; Bluetooth, USB audio, auxiliary input, headset output, and microphone input | 30 W RMS total and 60 W peak, as stated by Creative | A computer setup that needs multiple audio connections, including headset and microphone ports |
The figures in the table are manufacturer specifications, not independent measurements or a controlled loudness comparison. RMS and peak output figures alone do not show which speakers will sound better in your room. Creative’s 4.4 W RMS figure is for the original Pebble in a 2016 datasheet; it does not apply to Pebble Pro, Pebble Plus, or other versions.

Choose by the needs of your setup
You want a subwoofer and flexible control
The Logitech Z407 is the clearest fit among these models if you want a documented 2.1 setup with a subwoofer, Bluetooth, USB and 3.5 mm inputs, plus a wireless control dial. Its listed output is 40 W RMS total, but that number should not be treated as a sound-quality score or directly compared with another manufacturer’s rating.
You want a compact, USB-powered desktop pair
The original Creative Pebble is a 2.0 option with USB power and 3.5 mm analog audio. Creative’s 2016 datasheet describes it as powered through a single USB cable without a power adapter. That description and the 4.4 W RMS specification apply to the original model, not every Pebble product.

You need several computer-audio connections
The Creative T60 lists Bluetooth, USB audio, auxiliary input, headset output, and microphone input. Those connections may be useful if you want to connect a computer and use headset or microphone ports on the speaker system. Check the product page and your device’s compatibility before buying.
You prefer a basic wired 2.1 arrangement
The Logitech Z313 has a subwoofer, one 3.5 mm input, and a wired control pod. It may suit a source with a headphone jack when you do not need the Z407’s listed Bluetooth or multiple input options.

Check price and availability where you live
Prices and stock vary by country, retailer, and date, so compare the exact model and version in your local market before deciding. Creative’s US catalog showed several products marked out of stock when accessed; that is a time-sensitive catalog listing, not evidence that those products are permanently discontinued. Availability for other regions may differ.
If you are comparing two named products—such as the Creative Sound T100 and Logitech Z407—check their individual configurations and connections rather than inferring a winner from the brand names. The cited product information here does not establish a controlled sound comparison between them.
