Can your PC run Croc: Legend of the Gobbos? Compare it with the minimum requirements published by the store where you plan to get the game. Steam lists Windows 10 (64-bit), 16 GB of RAM, and 35 GB of free storage. GOG provides additional minimum details: an Intel Core i5 at 1.8 GHz and a 3D graphics card compatible with DirectX 12. These are storefront specifications, not a promise of a particular frame rate, resolution, or result on every PC.

The listings do not publish identical levels of hardware detail. Use the row for your intended store rather than treating one store’s processor or graphics requirement as if both stores published it.

How to check whether your PC meets them
Compare your computer’s operating system, installed memory, free storage, processor, and graphics support with the listing for your chosen store. Steam’s retrieved minimums leave CPU and graphics details unspecified; GOG’s listing supplies those two additional requirements.

- Check Windows: Confirm that your PC runs Windows 10 or newer. Both listings name Windows 10; Steam explicitly says the operating system must be 64-bit.
- Check RAM: Look for at least 16 GB of installed memory, the amount listed by both stores.
- Check free disk space: Make sure 35 GB is available for the game. The listings specify available space, not just the drive’s total capacity.
- Check CPU and graphics against your store’s page: GOG names an Intel Core i5 at 1.8 GHz and DirectX 12-compatible 3D graphics. Steam’s retrieved requirement section does not name a processor model or graphics minimum, so do not assume GOG’s details are Steam’s published requirements.
Meeting a minimum means your PC matches the stated baseline; it does not establish a guaranteed frame rate, resolution, or universal compatibility. Neither listing provides system-specific performance results.
What changes between the Steam and GOG listings?
Requirement detail
GOG publishes CPU and graphics requirements that are absent from Steam’s retrieved requirement section. That is a difference in the information the listings provide; it does not show that the game performs differently between stores.
Included classic game
GOG says the Platinum Edition purchase automatically adds the classic version to the buyer’s library alongside the remaster. The retrieved Steam listing describes the remaster and does not make the same bundle claim. For context, Steam describes the remaster as adding enhanced HD graphics, modern control mechanics, an updated camera, and retro video modes to the 1997 game, with 45 levels across five worlds. Those product details are not additional PC requirements.

Do you need to upgrade your PC or buy a peripheral?
The requirements alone do not establish that you need a particular RAM kit, storage drive, controller, or other peripheral. Check your PC against the relevant store listing before deciding whether an upgrade is necessary; the published minimums are not a recommendation to buy hardware.
PC availability and the earlier GOG announcement
On October 24, 2024, GOG announced the planned PC release as a GOG exclusive at that time. That is historical context, not a statement of current exclusivity: a Steam product listing is also available.
