If the page is exceptionally tall, Chrome’s capture path may reject its dimensions; capture smaller sections or save the article as a PDF instead. The available evidence does not identify a Hindi-language-specific bug, so the exact cause depends on the page, Chrome version, and symptom.
Use Chrome’s full-size screenshot command
- Open the article’s actual page and let the visible content finish loading.
- Open Chrome DevTools. Open the Command Menu with Ctrl+Shift+P on Windows, Linux, or ChromeOS, or Command+Shift+P on Mac.
- Type screenshot and choose the full-size or full-page capture command. In Device Mode, the documented route is More options > Capture a full size screenshot.
- Wait for the image to be produced or downloaded, then check its bottom edge and any sections that appeared blank.
The plain Capture screenshot action records only the current viewport. It will not include article content below the visible area. Chrome’s documented full-size action is described in the Chrome DevTools Device Mode documentation.
Why a long page can fail or get cut off
The capture dimensions may be too large
Chromium’s DevTools Protocol implementation contains a guard that rejects a full-page capture when either dimension reaches 128 × 1024 pixels in the inspected source revision, returning “Page is too large.” This is an implementation detail for that source revision, not a universal size guarantee for every Chrome version or capture route. The page may not have finished rendering
Start by confirming that the target is the article itself and that its visible content has loaded before capturing. A missing lower section, a blank area, an explicit browser error, and no downloaded file are different symptoms; note exactly which one occurs rather than assuming they share a cause.

The Hindi language is not an established cause
The cited Chrome documentation and Chromium implementation do not establish a Hindi-specific screenshot defect. Without the article URL, Chrome version, operating system, and observed failure, attributing the problem to Hindi text or to a particular news site would be speculation.
Workarounds when a full-page image will not capture
Capture the article in sections
If a single full-page image fails on a very tall page, take viewport-sized screenshots of successive sections. Check the joins for overlap or missing content. This is a practical workaround, not a guarantee that every page layout will capture cleanly.

Save a PDF when you need the article, not one image
Use Chrome’s print interface and choose Save as PDF. Inspect the resulting PDF: a news site may format its print view differently from the on-screen page, and the cited Chrome sources do not guarantee that print output preserves every dynamic element.
Choose by what you need to keep
- One continuous image: use the full-size action if it succeeds and inspect the result for completeness.
- A visual record despite a size limit: capture smaller sections and check them for gaps and overlap.
- A readable or printable record: save a PDF and verify that the text and images you need are present.
There is no established benchmark showing which option preserves every arbitrary news page best; inspect the saved result for your purpose.

Troubleshoot a failed capture step by step
- Record the symptom. Note whether Chrome omitted the bottom, produced a blank region, showed an error, or produced no file.
- Confirm the command. Use the full-size action in DevTools, not the viewport-only screenshot.
- Test a shorter section. If a shorter capture works but the entire page does not, the page’s dimensions may be exceeding a capture bound.
- Try the appropriate alternative. Use section captures when an image is essential, or print to PDF when the goal is to read or keep the article.
- Gather details before seeking a version-specific fix. Record the exact Chrome version, operating system, article URL, and error or result. Those details are needed to distinguish a browser issue from a page-specific one.
