Random freezes, missing sound and display glitches usually trace back to one bad driver. Find and replace yours safely.Free scan · under a minuteCloudConvert advertises a starting rate of $0.008 per file for a 10,000-file HTML-to-PDF example. It is not a guaranteed quote for every job: CloudConvert also meters credits by conversion type and processing time. Use its live pricing calculator with your expected volume and representative pages before budgeting.
How much does CloudConvert cost for 10,000 HTML-to-PDF conversions?
The CloudConvert HTML-to-PDF page displays $0.008 per file with a 10,000-file volume selector. That is a vendor-published starting indication, not a fixed total or a promise that every workload will receive that unit price. The page’s calculator is dynamic, and the captured information does not establish a stable checkout total. Check the pricing calculator for your selected volume and billing choice.
To estimate a bulk workload, test representative pages rather than assuming every document consumes identical resources. CloudConvert says credit use depends on conversion type and duration; pages involving JavaScript, custom fonts, long content, or remote resources may take different amounts of processing time. That is an operational inference from its metering model, not a published universal per-page cost.
Does CloudConvert charge per file or per minute?
The displayed per-file rate is a product-page starting example. CloudConvert’s general pricing model uses credits, typically one credit per minute of conversion time, with a base cost for each conversion and additional credits for extra minutes beyond the first. Its pricing page says longer conversions consume more resources and cost more.

- Read Before You Buy — No Video Output: These adapters support charging and USB 2.0 data transfer, but cannot transmit video signals. The published base-credit table lists General at 1 credit, Office to PDF and iWork to PDF at 2, and PDF to Office at 4. It does not separately identify HTML-to-PDF, so do not assume that format uses a particular base-credit category. Check the live calculator or your account pricing for the applicable estimate. Successful conversions are charged.
Which CloudConvert plan fits a bulk workload?
| Option | Published terms | Best fit to consider |
|---|---|---|
| Free | €0; 10 credits per day, resetting daily; low processing priority; 1 GB maximum file size; five-minute maximum processing time; five concurrent tasks. | Personal use, testing, or hobby projects, as CloudConvert describes it. The daily allowance and limits make it a poor basis for assuming production bulk throughput. |
| One-time package | The pricing page shows 1,000 credits as an example quantity. Credits do not expire. The displayed price is dynamic, not a fixed amount established here. Listed maximum file size, processing time, and concurrent tasks are unlimited. | Irregular or bursty work where keeping unused credits matters more than a recurring subscription price. |
| Subscription | The page shows 1,000 credits per month as an example. Credits reset monthly and do not roll over. CloudConvert says subscriptions can be up to 50% cheaper than packages, depending on volume and per-credit rates; they can be cancelled at any time with no minimum term. | Recurring workloads with predictable monthly use, especially when the selected subscription rate offsets credits that would otherwise expire at month-end. |
| Enterprise | Custom credits and pricing; optional dedicated capacity and priority support are listed. | Large workloads that need custom commercial terms or the listed capacity and support options. |
The 1,000-credit package and subscription figures are examples displayed on the pricing page, not universal plan sizes or prices. Compare your expected monthly volume, burstiness, credit expiry, effective per-credit rate, processing priority, concurrency needs, and any need for dedicated capacity before choosing. Team billing lets organizations share billing while files and conversions remain private; auto-refill is available for packages.

How bulk HTML-to-PDF jobs work
CloudConvert describes its HTML-to-PDF API as a headless-Chrome pipeline that accepts an HTML file or URL. The API is organized around jobs made up of tasks. A typical job imports input, converts it, and exports the PDF; jobs can include multiple conversion and export tasks.
Listed rendering controls include JavaScript and custom-font handling, waiting for a chosen CSS selector, page dimensions and margins, zoom, headers and footers, and synchronous or asynchronous processing. The service defaults to asynchronous conversion with webhook notification, and the product page also shows a capture-website example with PDF output and an export task. Integrations with S3, Azure, and Google Cloud can reduce manual transfer steps. These are vendor-described capabilities, not independent performance findings. See the API documentation for job and task details.

Throughput, retries, and data location
- Concurrency and request limits are different. A plan’s concurrent-task allowance is not the same as the API’s job- and task-creation rate limits. CloudConvert documents dynamic rate limits; a rate-limited request returns HTTP 429 with a
Retry-Afterheader. - Respect retry behavior. CloudConvert advises against automatically retrying failed tasks because it internally retries retryable errors. Handle 429 responses according to the response header and avoid retry loops that can create more traffic.
- Choose synchronous or asynchronous deliberately. Synchronous calls can return results for on-the-fly workflows; asynchronous jobs and webhooks suit jobs that run in the background. Plan your own queue and completion handling around the selected model.
- Check region requirements. CloudConvert says it selects the nearest region by default and documents named endpoints for Germany (
eu-central) and Virginia, USA (us-east). Confirm account configuration and applicable terms if data location matters. - Use the sandbox carefully. The API sandbox supports jobs without credit use for development but accepts only whitelisted files.
Commercial-use and compliance checks
CloudConvert’s Terms of Service identify the operator as Lunaweb GmbH in Gruenwald, Germany. The displayed terms update date is April 12, 2022. They say the API may be used as an integral component of software that adds significant value and substantial functionality, but prohibit providing a raw file-conversion service as a standalone product using the API. Because the displayed terms date is older than the pricing information accessed in 2026, re-check the live Terms of Service and confirm that your intended commercial use is permitted before launch.
