Yes—if you schedule prerecorded video through OneStream Live, it can go live automatically after setup, so the computer you used to schedule it should not need to stay on. That conclusion follows from OneStream Live’s documented scheduling workflow; its help page does not explicitly promise that a computer can be shut down. A live feed sent by an encoder such as OBS is different: the computer running that encoder must remain on while it supplies the stream.
It depends on what you are streaming
OneStream Live offers distinct ways to broadcast, and the answer changes with the source of the video. A scheduled prerecorded broadcast plays selected or uploaded content. An encoder stream relays a live feed from software running on your computer. OneStream Live also describes a browser-based studio for live sessions.

For prerecorded video, schedule it before shutting down
OneStream Live says prerecorded content can go live automatically at its scheduled time. Its help instructions describe choosing a video source, selecting a destination, entering stream details, and scheduling the broadcast. Once that setup is complete, the service—not a video player left running on your computer—handles the scheduled broadcast. The computer-off conclusion is therefore a practical inference from the workflow, rather than an explicit promise in the help article.
Video sources and scheduling
OneStream Live lists video from your device, OneStream storage, and cloud storage services such as Google Drive or Dropbox as possible sources. Make sure the selected video is available to the service and that the destination and schedule are set before you turn off the computer. The OneStream Live overview describes scheduling prerecorded streams up to 60 days in advance. This is the overview’s stated limit, not a guarantee that every account or workflow has the same availability; check the current product interface and help information when scheduling. For a live encoder feed, keep the source computer running
With encoder streaming, OneStream Live receives a live feed from an external encoder. Its instructions have you configure a destination, copy the server URL and stream key, and enter those details in the encoder. If OBS or another encoder is running on the computer you shut down, that machine stops supplying the feed; the stream cannot continue as the same live computer-generated source without it.

What OneStream Live documents for 24/7 streaming
OneStream Live’s specific 24/7 prerecorded-stream feature is for YouTube only. Its help page states that it requires an Enterprise plan and has a maximum duration of 30 days. Those limits apply to that documented feature; they should not be assumed to govern every ordinary scheduled prerecorded broadcast.
