Huawei publishes the Pura 70 display resolution as 2760 × 1256 physical pixels, but that figure is not the browser’s CSS viewport. If exact device rendering matters, capture or inspect the page on the Pura 70 itself.
What screen size should you use for the Pura 70?
Huawei Singapore lists the base HUAWEI Pura 70 with a 6.6-inch display and a resolution of 2760 × 1256 pixels, measured against a standard rectangle; the rounded display has slightly fewer effective pixels. Huawei’s specification page gives physical display figures, not a verified browser viewport.
A website layout is generally sized in CSS pixels. Device pixel ratio (DPR) relates physical pixels to logical CSS pixels, so entering 2760 × 1256 into DevTools as viewport dimensions would not, by itself, reproduce the phone’s browser layout. The sources do not establish a verified Pura 70 browser viewport or DPR. Use dimensions and DPR measured in the target browser when an exact emulation is needed; otherwise treat a custom mobile setup as an approximation.
Capture a screenshot in Chrome DevTools
- Open the website in Chrome on a desktop computer, then open DevTools.
- Enable the Device Toolbar. In its Dimensions controls, choose a known device preset or configure a custom mobile device and viewport if the Pura 70 is not listed.
- Set the viewport width and height in CSS pixels. Set DPR separately if you have measured or otherwise verified it for the target browser; do not calculate it from the published physical resolution alone.
- Choose portrait or landscape to match the intended view.
- Open the Device Mode More options menu. Choose Capture screenshot for the currently visible viewport, or Capture a full size screenshot for the whole document.
Chrome’s Device Mode documentation describes these tools as a way to simulate mobile devices. Its controls are useful for responsive-design checks, but simulation is a first-order approximation, not a guarantee of pixel-identical rendering on every Pura 70 browser version. Menu wording can also vary across Chrome releases.

For a critical visual QA decision, check the page on the actual HUAWEI Pura 70. Chrome’s documentation recommends using a real device when actual-device behavior matters; DevTools offers remote debugging as an option for that kind of inspection.
Troubleshooting mismatched screenshots
- The page looks too wide or too narrow: Check that the custom dimensions are CSS pixels, not the panel’s 2760 × 1256 physical-pixel specification. Confirm the viewport values in the target phone browser if the exact layout breakpoint matters.
- Text or images look like the wrong size: Verify DPR separately from viewport width and height. The physical resolution alone does not establish the browser’s logical pixel dimensions.
- The screenshot cuts off content: Use the full-size screenshot option when you need the entire document; the ordinary screenshot captures the visible viewport.
- The screenshot differs from the phone: Treat Device Mode as an approximation and verify in the phone’s browser. The phone/browser combination may render differently from desktop emulation.
- The menu label is different: DevTools wording can shift between Chrome releases. Look in Device Mode’s More options menu for the viewport or full-page screenshot command.
