1Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute2Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors3Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesYes—a 4K/60 YouTube Live loop can work over Tata Play Fiber if the encoder has enough sustained upload capacity to YouTube. YouTube recommends 35 Mbps of video bitrate for AV1 or H.265, or 50 Mbps for H.264, plus 20% upload headroom. Tata Play Fiber advertises symmetrical 100 Mbps, 200 Mbps, and 1 Gbps tiers on its streaming page, but the advertised tier is not a guarantee of the sustained upload available at your address. Test your actual connection with the intended loop before relying on it.
Check whether your Tata Play Fiber connection can sustain 4K/60
Use the encoder computer on the same connection, router, and network arrangement you plan to use for the stream. A speed result from another device or a quiet moment may not reflect the capacity available during a live event. YouTube recommends leaving 20% of upload bandwidth beyond the total stream bitrate, and other devices sharing the connection can reduce what the encoder has available. YouTube’s streaming tips recommend testing upload bitrate and allowing this headroom.

| Codec | YouTube recommended 4K/60 video bitrate | Upload with 20% headroom |
|---|---|---|
| AV1 or H.265 | 35 Mbps | About 42 Mbps |
| H.264 | 50 Mbps | About 60 Mbps |
The headroom figures are arithmetic applications of YouTube’s 20% recommendation to the listed video bitrates; they are not separate YouTube measurements. Audio and other network traffic also use capacity, so do not treat 42 Mbps or 60 Mbps as a guarantee. YouTube lists minimum bitrates of 10 Mbps for AV1/H.265 and 14 Mbps for H.264 at 4K/60, but those minimums are not a reliability target. See YouTube’s encoder settings and bitrate table.
Tata Play Fiber’s streaming page lists symmetrical upload/download tiers of 100 Mbps, 200 Mbps, and 1 Gbps. Those nominal speeds exceed the recommended ingest rates above, but check the plan available at your location and measure sustained outbound performance under realistic household use. A wired Ethernet connection between the encoder computer and router can avoid variability in the local Wi-Fi link; it cannot guarantee provider-side capacity or a stable route to YouTube. Check Tata Play Fiber’s listed plans and verify current local availability.

Prepare the YouTube channel and live event
Confirm live-streaming eligibility
YouTube requires a verified channel and no live-streaming restrictions in the preceding 90 days. Review YouTube’s live-streaming setup requirements before scheduling a test or event.
Create an encoder stream and protect its key
- Open YouTube Studio and go to Live Control Room.
- Create or schedule an encoder stream, then copy the server URL and stream key shown for that stream.
- In your encoder, paste the server URL into the server field and the key into the stream-key field. Treat the key as a password: anyone with it may be able to send a feed to your channel.
- Start the encoder and wait for the Live Control Room preview and stream-health information. Start the event in Live Control Room if the selected stream settings require it.
For the current workflow and labels, consult YouTube’s setup guidance. Never publish or share the stream key.

Set the encoder for 3840×2160 at 60 fps
- Resolution and frame rate: 3840×2160 (2160p) at 60 fps.
- Codec and video bitrate: Choose a codec supported by both your encoder and YouTube. YouTube recommends 35 Mbps for AV1 or H.265, and 50 Mbps for H.264 at 4K/60. Do not use the published minimums as a target for a dependable stream.
- Rate control: Constant bitrate (CBR).
- Keyframe interval: 2 seconds recommended; do not exceed 4 seconds.
- Protocol: RTMPS is recommended. YouTube supports RTMP/RTMPS.
- Latency: 4K streams use normal latency; low-latency mode is unavailable at this resolution.
These are YouTube’s published encoder requirements and recommendations; supported codec options also depend on the encoder you choose. Check YouTube’s current encoder settings before going live because specifications can change.
Configure and test the loop in your encoder
YouTube receives an encoder feed; it does not provide a universal loop control for every encoder. The exact setting depends on the software or hardware you select, so check that encoder’s current instructions for making a media source repeat. Do not assume a source will restart automatically when it ends.

- Load the intended video or playlist and enable its repeat or loop option in the encoder.
- Set the output resolution, frame rate, codec, bitrate, CBR rate control, and keyframe interval described above.
- Connect the encoder to YouTube using the stream URL and key from Live Control Room.
- Run a test using the actual video and audio. Check that the source restarts cleanly, transitions do not create gaps, audio remains continuous, and the output is 3840×2160 at 60 fps.
- Watch YouTube’s preview and stream-health indicators while the test is running. Repeat under normal household network use, not only when other devices are idle.
YouTube advises testing and monitoring the feed. The listed plan speeds alone cannot establish how your particular connection will behave during a sustained stream.
Plan for long streams and archives
YouTube says streams shorter than 12 hours can be automatically archived, including 1440p and 2160p streams. A stream longer than 12 hours may not be captured at all; YouTube recommends keeping a local archive backup if the recording matters. If you need an automatic archive, schedule manageable segments shorter than 12 hours and verify the resulting recordings. See YouTube’s live-stream archiving guidance.

Troubleshoot common 4K/60 loop problems
| Symptom | Likely cause | What to check or change |
|---|---|---|
| Stream health warns of insufficient bandwidth or the feed drops | Sustained upload is below the stream’s total bitrate plus headroom, or other devices are using capacity. | Measure upload from the encoder computer under realistic network use. Reduce competing traffic; if needed, lower bitrate or resolution until the connection can sustain the output. |
| Advertised fiber tier looks sufficient, but the live feed is unstable | The plan’s nominal rate does not establish sustained outbound performance at your address; Wi-Fi or local network conditions may also vary. | Test the actual connection and consider Ethernet from the encoder computer to the router. A cable only addresses the local link, not provider or route performance. |
| Video is not 4K/60 or YouTube rejects the feed | Encoder output settings, codec support, bitrate, or keyframe interval do not match YouTube’s requirements. | Confirm 3840×2160 at 60 fps, a supported codec, CBR, the recommended bitrate for that codec, and a 2-second keyframe interval (no more than 4 seconds). |
| Live Control Room receives no video | The stream URL or key may be missing or incorrect, the encoder may not be sending, or the channel may not be eligible. | Check the URL and private key, confirm the encoder is running, review the preview, and verify channel eligibility and restrictions. |
| The loop stops at the end of the file or has a gap | The encoder’s media source may not be set to repeat, or its playlist transition may not be seamless. | Check the chosen encoder’s current loop setting and test the actual source through a full repeat before scheduling the event. |
| A long event has no complete YouTube archive | Streams longer than 12 hours may not be captured automatically. | Keep a local recording if the full event is important, or divide the broadcast into segments shorter than 12 hours when an automatic archive matters. |
