Vultr Cloud Compute पर YouTube encoder चलाकर prerecorded वीडियो लगातार प्रसारित किए जा सकते हैं। इसके दो documented तरीके हैं: Ubuntu server पर OBS चलाना, या Vultr Broadcaster Marketplace App से browser में OBS खोलना। लेकिन 24/7 प्रसारण का अर्थ यह नहीं कि YouTube पूरी stream को replay के रूप में सुरक्षित रखेगा—12 घंटे से लंबी stream शायद archive ही न हो।
कौन-सा Vultr तरीका चुनें?
दोनों विकल्प cloud server पर OBS चलाते हैं; फर्क मुख्यतः OBS तक पहुंचने और सेटअप करने के तरीके में है। Vultr के उपलब्ध guides के आधार पर तुलना:

यदि आप server और desktop session संभालना चाहते हैं, Ubuntu वाला रास्ता सीधा है। Browser से OBS चलाना पसंद हो तो Broadcaster app पर विचार करें। इन guides से किसी विकल्प को हर उपयोगकर्ता के लिए सबसे सस्ता या अधिक भरोसेमंद नहीं कहा जा सकता।
विकल्प A: Ubuntu Cloud Compute पर OBS सेट करें
1. Server तैयार करें
Vultr का Ubuntu OBS tutorial शुरुआती server specification के रूप में कम-से-कम 2 vCPUs, 4 GB RAM, 80 GB storage और 3 TB bandwidth सुझाता है। यह उसी tutorial का baseline है, हर resolution या stream के लिए सार्वभौमिक आवश्यकता अथवा benchmark नहीं। Stream की encoder load, media files और बाकी काम के अनुसार जरूरत बदल सकती है।

- SSH से non-root sudo user के रूप में server में प्रवेश करें। Root account से रोजमर्रा का काम न करें।
- पैकेज सूची अपडेट करें और FFmpeg तथा OBS Studio स्थापित करें। Ubuntu पर सामान्य package manager का उदाहरण
sudo apt updateऔरsudo apt install ffmpeg obs-studioहै; उपलब्ध package और desktop dependencies आपके Ubuntu release के अनुसार अलग हो सकते हैं। - OBS को graphical desktop session में खोलें। इस workflow में OBS को केवल terminal में install कर देना पर्याप्त नहीं; आपको उसका interface खोलकर sources और stream settings configure करनी हैं।
2. YouTube stream और key जोड़ें
- YouTube Studio में live stream बनाएं और encoder connection के लिए server तथा stream key प्राप्त करें। Live Control Room में stream का preview आने तक उसे public न करें।
- OBS में YouTube service/server destination चुनें और stream key दर्ज करें। YouTube की encoder guidance RTMPS की सिफारिश करती है। OBS में server/stream destination के उपलब्ध विकल्पों में YouTube ingest settings के अनुरूप RTMPS चुनें।
- Stream key को password की तरह गोपनीय रखें। उसे screenshots, public code, terminal recordings या logs में न दिखाएं। जरूरत पड़ने पर YouTube Studio में key बदलें और encoder में नई key अपडेट करें।
3. एक वीडियो या playlist को लगातार चलाएं
- जिस recording को प्रसारित करने का अधिकार आपके पास है उसे Vultr server पर रखें। लगातार playback के लिए OBS में Media Source जोड़ें, वीडियो चुनें और Loop विकल्प सक्षम करें।
- एक से अधिक videos चलाने हों तो VLC Video Source में playlist बनाएं। क्रम जांचें और सुनिश्चित करें कि playlist खत्म होने पर playback फिर शुरू हो, जैसा आपके चुने हुए source विकल्पों में उपलब्ध हो।
- OBS preview में picture, aspect ratio, audio और loop व्यवहार जांचें। Live होने से पहले ऐसा test करें जिसमें वीडियो के अंत तक playback देखा जाए।
4. Reconnect व्यवहार और संसाधन जांचें
Vultr का OBS tutorial Advanced settings में reconnect retry delay 3 सेकंड या कम और maximum retries 1000 या अधिक रखने की सलाह देता है। यह OBS के reconnect प्रयासों की सेटिंग है, server, network या YouTube की uptime की गारंटी नहीं। CPU उपयोग बढ़े या frames drop हों तो Vultr resolution कम करने या अधिक vCPUs वाले plan पर जाने की सलाह देता है।
विकल्प B: Vultr Broadcaster Marketplace App से browser में OBS
- Vultr Marketplace से Broadcaster instance deploy करें। Setup के दौरान बनी access details को सुरक्षित password manager में रखें; उन्हें सार्वजनिक न करें।
- यदि अपने domain या subdomain से browser में OBS खोलना है, DNS को instance की ओर configure करें और Broadcaster guide के अनुसार TLS certificate लगाएं।
- Browser में OBS खोलें और YouTube Studio से मिली server/key जानकारी दर्ज करके stream destination सेट करें। Stream key को निजी credential की तरह सुरक्षित रखें।
- Prerecorded files server पर upload करें। OBS में Media Source चुनें और Loop चालू करें; कई files के लिए VLC Video Source playlist उपयोग करें।
- Broadcaster guide critical RTMP port की पहुंच को भरोसेमंद IP तक सीमित करने की सलाह देती है। केवल आवश्यक network access खुला रखें और Live Control Room में preview तथा stream health देखकर प्रसारण शुरू करें।
यह packaged deployment browser access देता है, लेकिन इससे OBS configuration, media upload या सुरक्षा की जिम्मेदारी समाप्त नहीं होती।

Vultr के OBS tutorial में 720p30 के लिए 1.5–4.5 Mbps और 1080p30 के लिए 3–6.5 Mbps जैसे अलग setup ranges दिए गए हैं। ये YouTube की ऊपर दी गई वर्तमान H.264 recommended bitrates से मेल नहीं खाते। Encoder सेट करते समय YouTube की ingest guidance को प्राथमिक रखें और test stream से अपनी तस्वीर तथा stream health जांचें।
- Resolution और frame rate वही रखें जिन्हें server बिना लगातार dropped frames के encode कर सकता है। CPU दबाव या dropped frames दिखें तो resolution घटाएं या अधिक vCPUs वाला instance चुनें।
- अपलोड bandwidth में video और audio की कुल bitrate समा सके। YouTube उपलब्ध upload bandwidth पर 20% headroom छोड़ने की सिफारिश करता है; bitrate को connection की पूरी क्षमता तक न ले जाएं।
- Bitrate, audio और keyframe settings लगाने के बाद Live Control Room का preview देखें और stream health की निगरानी करें। Test सफल होने से unattended प्रसारण की स्थायी गारंटी नहीं मिलती।
24/7 stream और YouTube replay एक बात नहीं हैं
OBS या Broadcaster server को लगातार चलाए रखने से दर्शकों के लिए feed जारी रह सकती है, लेकिन YouTube पर पूरी replay सुरक्षित रहने की गारंटी नहीं बनती। YouTube Help के अनुसार 12 घंटे से कम live streams अपने आप archive हो सकती हैं; 12 घंटे से लंबी stream शायद capture न हो।

यदि पूरा दिन का replay जरूरी है, तो छोटे scheduled live segments की योजना बनाएं और अलग recording workflow रखें। YouTube स्थानीय archive की backup प्रति रखने की भी सिफारिश करता है। 24 घंटे की एक uninterrupted stream को एक पूर्ण YouTube video के रूप में सहेजे जाने पर निर्भर न रहें।

Server और stream key सुरक्षित रखें
- Ubuntu workflow में SSH के लिए non-root sudo user रखें। Broadcaster instance की generated access details साझा न करें।
- Broadcaster guide domain उपयोग में TLS certificate लगाने और critical RTMP port को भरोसेमंद IP तक सीमित रखने की सलाह देती है।
- YouTube stream key केवल encoder में डालें; उसे screenshot, public code, recording या logs में उजागर न करें।
- Live Control Room में visibility और preview जांचें। लंबे संचालन में OBS/server स्थिति, stream health, audio और video देखते रहें। Reconnect settings मदद कर सकती हैं, लेकिन monitoring का विकल्प नहीं हैं।
वीडियो और संगीत के अधिकार पहले जांचें
YouTube की livestream terms के अनुसार creator को Live Content के उपयोग के लिए आवश्यक अधिकार होने चाहिए। इसमें संगीत के लिए artists, record labels, publishers और अन्य अधिकारधारकों से जरूरी licensing rights शामिल हैं। किसी सामग्री को server पर upload या loop करने से उसका प्रसारण अपने-आप वैध नहीं हो जाता। केवल वह recording, video और music चलाएं जिसके लिए आपके पास आवश्यक अनुमति है।
