For an existing Versionista account, the documented way to get change reports is by email: set the summary-email schedule in Account Settings and, if you want, enable a spreadsheet attachment of detected changes. The official tutorial does not name the attachment format, and the documentation reviewed does not establish a general report-download button or an API export route.
Set up Versionista change reports by email
- Sign in to Versionista and open Account Settings. Edit the summary-email settings.
- Choose a delivery frequency. The tutorial says the default is daily and that you can adjust it, including to weekly or monthly.
- Choose whether you also want a summary when no changes were detected.
- Choose how comparison links should represent changes: the latest change or the full reporting interval. The latter is useful when a page changed several times during the period.
- Enable the optional spreadsheet attachment if you want detected changes attached to the summary email.
The tutorial describes an attachment as a spreadsheet, but does not identify whether it is CSV, XLSX, or another file type. Check the attachment itself before relying on it in a particular spreadsheet application or automated workflow.
Find an emailed report again
If the message was deleted or is no longer in your inbox, use the link to the full sent-email history in Account Settings. The tutorial also says comparison links in summary emails are temporarily public for one week so recipients without accounts can view differences. That statement applies to those links; it does not establish sharing permissions for spreadsheet attachments or account data.
Can you download a report as CSV or Excel?
The official tutorial confirms an optional spreadsheet attachment, but does not name its file format or provide instructions for manually downloading a report from the comparison viewer. Therefore, do not assume the attachment is CSV or Excel based on the documentation alone. If you specifically need a format or a downloadable file, inspect a report email from your account or ask Versionista support to confirm what your account provides.

- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
Does the Versionista API export reports?
The Versionista API documentation describes the API as experimental and subject to change. It documents a test endpoint and a watch endpoint for adding a URL to monitoring; it does not document a report-export endpoint. Do not treat those documented endpoints as a way to retrieve report files. For automated report retrieval, confirm whether Versionista offers an account-specific integration or another supported method.
Check which product applies to your account
Versionista’s homepage says existing customer accounts remain supported without changes required, while new web-monitoring accounts are available through Fluxguard. If you already use Versionista, the email-report steps above apply to the documented workflow. If you are looking to open a new monitoring account, expect the current signup path to lead to Fluxguard.
