In Microsoft Edge on Windows, press Ctrl+Shift+S to open Screenshot (formerly Web Capture), choose Capture full page, review the result, and save it. The shortcut opens the capture tool; selecting the full-page option is a separate step.
Capture an entire webpage in Edge
- Open Edge and navigate to the webpage you want to capture.
- Press Ctrl+Shift+S. You can also open Screenshot/Web capture from the Settings and more menu.
- Select Capture full page. Microsoft describes this as the middle option in the capture interface.
- Review the captured page, then save the image to your device.
Microsoft’s Edge guide to taking a screenshot of an entire webpage documents this workflow. The tool also has Capture area, which selects part of a page rather than the whole page; Microsoft says an area capture can be copied or marked up before saving.
If the shortcut or Screenshot option is missing
Microsoft’s policy documentation calls the feature Screenshot; its learning-center guide still uses Web capture. It documents Screenshot for Windows and macOS in versions 87 and later, but not Android or iOS. The policy table lists Ctrl+Shift+S when the feature is enabled or not configured by policy. Microsoft’s general Mac shortcut list does not document a Mac shortcut for Screenshot, so use Edge’s menu and check the behavior in your installed version rather than assuming the Windows key combination applies.
On a managed Edge installation, an administrator may have disabled the feature using the WebCaptureEnabled policy. Microsoft says enabling or leaving that policy unconfigured makes Screenshot available through the context menu, the Settings and more menu, and Ctrl+Shift+S; disabling it blocks access. See Microsoft’s WebCaptureEnabled policy reference. If you cannot change a managed policy yourself, contact your organization’s administrator.

Developer alternative: capture full size with DevTools
If you are already working in Edge DevTools, its Device Toolbar offers a separate full-page capture path:
- Open DevTools and turn on the Device Toolbar.
- Open the Device Toolbar’s More options menu.
- Select Capture a full size screenshot.
Do not confuse that command with Capture screenshot, which captures only the current viewport. Microsoft documents the distinction in its DevTools screenshot instructions. This route is more technical than the built-in Screenshot shortcut and is useful when you are already using the Device Toolbar.
