Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors2Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute3Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsYou can run a Telugu devotional music stream through OBS by creating an encoder broadcast in YouTube Studio, adding the authorized audio and visual sources to an OBS scene, and sending OBS’s output to YouTube with the stream URL and key. For a true 24/7 operation, plan for stable upload bandwidth, power and computer interruptions, music rights, monitoring, and YouTube’s archive limit: a stream longer than 12 hours may not be captured at all.
Before you start: check channel access and music rights
Confirm YouTube live-stream eligibility
Your channel must be verified, live streaming must be available, and the channel must have no live-stream restrictions from the previous 90 days. YouTube also sets a minimum age of 16 for live streaming. Check eligibility before building the setup; account restrictions cannot be fixed in OBS. See YouTube’s live-streaming eligibility guidance.
Use recordings you are authorized to stream
Make a rights inventory for every composition and recording in your playlist. A devotional subject or traditional melody does not establish that a particular modern performance or recording is free to use. You need the relevant rights for the exact material. YouTube scans live streams for third-party content and may interrupt a stream when it detects a match. If you have a license, ask the rights holder to allowlist your channel in Content ID; a license alone may not prevent an automated interruption if the channel is not allowlisted. YouTube for Artists recommends coordinating with a label or distributor when using copyright-protected music during a live stream. Read YouTube’s copyright guidance and YouTube for Artists.
Prepare the YouTube broadcast and OBS scene
Create or schedule an encoder stream in YouTube Studio
- Open YouTube Studio and select Create, then Go Live.
- Choose the encoder workflow and create or schedule the broadcast.
- Open the stream settings and copy the YouTube stream URL and stream key. Treat the key like a password: do not show it in screenshots, publish it, or share it with anyone who should not control the stream.
YouTube can change interface labels; follow the current encoder workflow shown in Studio if a label differs. Its encoder live-stream setup guide covers preview and starting the broadcast.

Build the OBS scene
In OBS, create a scene for the stream. Add an image or suitable visual loop and the authorized audio source, then confirm that the audio meter moves and that the scene displays as intended. For a devotional music stream with a static image, motion-heavy graphics are not necessary; prioritize a clean, legible visual and uninterrupted audio. OBS’s official help is available at OBS Help.
Connect OBS to YouTube
- In OBS, open Settings > Stream.
- Select YouTube as the service if it is available, then use the sign-in or connection flow; otherwise select a custom streaming service.
- For a custom service, enter YouTube’s stream URL as the server and paste the stream key into the key field. Avoid sharing a screen while the key is visible.
- Apply the settings and return to the main OBS window. Verify the correct scene and audio source are selected before starting the encoder.
OBS interface options can vary by version. YouTube’s current Studio stream settings are authoritative for the URL and key.

Choose settings your connection can sustain continuously
Resolution and bitrate
Use a resolution and bitrate that your internet connection can maintain around the clock, rather than selecting the highest available values by default. YouTube’s current H.264 recommendation for 1080p at 30 fps is a bitrate range of 5–14 Mbps. That is a recommended range, not a universal minimum; a static devotional visual may not need 1080p30, and a lower stable setting can be preferable to a higher setting that drops frames.
Upload headroom and keyframes
YouTube recommends keeping about 20% upload-bandwidth headroom above the stream’s total bitrate. Measure available upload capacity under typical conditions and leave that reserve for fluctuations and other network traffic. For encoder settings beyond bitrate, use YouTube’s current live encoder settings and bitrates; confirm the recommended keyframe interval and format there before configuring OBS, because these specifications can change.

- Custom three-capsule array: This professional USB mic produces clear, powerful, broadcast-quality sound for YouTube videos, Twitch game streaming, podcasting, Zoom meetings, music recording and more
- Blue VO!CE software: Elevate your streamings and recordings with clear broadcast vocal sound and entertain your audience with enhanced effects, advanced modulation and HD audio samples
- Four pickup patterns: Flexible cardioid, omni, bidirectional, and stereo pickup patterns allow you to record in ways that would normally require multiple mics, for vocals, instruments and podcasts
- Onboard audio controls: Headphone volume, pattern selection, instant mute, and mic gain put you in charge of every level of the audio recording and streaming process
- Positionable design: Pivot the mic in relation to the sound source to optimize your sound quality thanks to the adjustable desktop stand and track your voice in real time with no-latency monitoring
For a 24/7 stream, a wired network connection and a connection not heavily shared with other traffic can reduce avoidable instability. The actual capacity needed depends on the chosen video and audio settings and the network’s real sustained upload performance.
Test, start, and monitor the live stream
- Run a private or unlisted test broadcast before scheduling a public continuous stream.
- In OBS, start streaming and watch the YouTube Studio preview until the video and audio arrive correctly.
- Check the image, audio level, synchronization, and YouTube stream-health indicators. Correct problems before making the broadcast public.
- When the preview and health checks are satisfactory, start the broadcast in Studio if the workflow requires a separate go-live action.
- Keep monitoring OBS and Studio after launch. A stream that starts successfully can still develop network, audio-source, or copyright problems later.
YouTube’s streaming tips recommend testing and monitoring stream health. The current encoder preview/go-live sequence is described in its encoder setup guidance.

Plan continuity and recordings for a 24/7 schedule
Choose between one continuous broadcast and shorter sessions
A continuous broadcast offers continuity for listeners, but YouTube says a stream that exceeds 12 hours may not be captured at all. If a dependable YouTube archive matters, schedule sessions to end before 12 hours and restart them as needed. For a complete recording, also make and verify a local recording; YouTube recommends local archive backups. See YouTube’s live-stream archive guidance.
Account for the equipment and connection
With OBS, the computer, OBS, the audio and visual sources, power, and internet connection all need to remain operational. A power interruption, computer sleep or restart, software failure, or network loss can end the stream. Disable sleep settings that would stop the computer, confirm that the audio source loops as intended, and establish a way to check the stream regularly. A UPS is optional, not a YouTube or OBS requirement; choose one based on the load of the computer and network equipment and the runtime you need.

Troubleshoot common OBS and YouTube problems
- YouTube does not receive the OBS stream: Recheck the server URL and stream key in OBS against the active broadcast’s settings in Studio. Confirm that the encoder is running and the channel is eligible to stream.
- The stream is unstable or drops frames: Reduce resolution or bitrate, check sustained upload capacity, and restore the recommended 20% upload headroom. Check for competing network traffic and test again before returning to a public schedule.
- The image arrives but there is no sound: Confirm the intended audio source is active in the OBS scene, its meter is moving, and the source is not muted. Listen to a test broadcast at YouTube, not only through OBS monitoring.
- YouTube interrupts or restricts the stream over music: Review the detected content and rights status. Remove material you are not authorized to use; if you hold a license, contact the rights holder about allowlisting your channel in Content ID.
- The stream has no dependable archive: YouTube may not capture broadcasts longer than 12 hours. Use shorter sessions and record locally, then verify that the local file is growing and playable.
- The stream stops when unattended: Check for computer sleep, power loss, OBS closure, source playback ending, or internet loss. A local OBS setup depends on each of these components continuing to work.
