The Tel Aviv-based company said it would use the funding to establish a U.S. presence, expand research and development, and investigate LCNC security vulnerabilities.
What is Nokod Security?
Nokod Security is an enterprise security company focused on applications and automations built with LCNC and RPA platforms. These tools let employees create workflows and apps with limited traditional coding. Nokod’s premise is that the resulting assets can introduce security, compliance and governance risks that conventional application-security tools may not cover.
The company’s platform reached general availability on May 2, 2024. Nokod says it works with Microsoft Power Apps, UiPath, ServiceNow, Salesforce and other platforms. Its stated capabilities include discovering and inventorying apps and automations, assessing security and compliance issues, enforcing policies, and guiding developers or security teams toward remediation.
What did Nokod raise $8 million for?
Nokod announced the seed funding from Acrew Capital, Meron Capital and Flint Capital. The company said it planned to use the money to establish a U.S. presence, grow its R&D teams and support research into vulnerabilities in low-code and no-code environments.

The round addressed a concern that grows as organizations let more employees build their own internal tools and automations. In its 2023 announcement, Nokod cited a Gartner forecast that 65% of the IT market would adopt low-code/no-code and RPA by 2024. That was a forecast made at the time, not a measured current adoption rate.
How does Nokod say its platform works?
Discover assets and establish an inventory
The platform is designed to find LCNC applications and RPA automations across connected environments and maintain an up-to-date inventory. This can help security teams see what has been built beyond the software development processes they already monitor.
Assess risks and enforce policies
Nokod describes continuous assessment for security threats, vulnerabilities, compliance issues and misconfigurations, along with policy enforcement and governance reporting. Its solution brief identifies examples such as hardcoded secrets, data leakage, injection vulnerabilities, and unpatched applications or components.
Route findings to the people who can act
The company says findings can include remediation guidance for citizen developers, with automated remediation options where available. Follow-up actions can also be sent to SIEMs, ticketing systems or audit reports. The stated goal is to let app creators fix suitable issues themselves while keeping security teams informed when their support is needed.

Connect through APIs
Nokod describes its deployment as agentless: customers register platforms using API keys, and the product maps platform data into a platform-agnostic representation. This is the company’s description of its architecture, not an independently assessed deployment or security test.
Does Nokod protect Power Apps, UiPath or ServiceNow automations?
Nokod’s May 2024 general-availability announcement names Microsoft Power Apps, UiPath, ServiceNow and Salesforce among its integrations. The company positions the product for both LCNC applications and RPA automations, so its stated scope includes apps built with Power Apps and automation workflows on UiPath or ServiceNow. The available product descriptions do not specify coverage by individual product version, subscription tier or feature, so organizations should confirm exact connector capabilities and permissions with Nokod before deployment.
Who founded Nokod, and who invested?
Yair Finzi is identified as Nokod’s co-founder and CEO. He previously co-founded and led SecuredTouch, which was later acquired by Ping Identity. Co-founder Amichai Shulman was previously a co-founder and CTO of Imperva. The 2023 seed investors were Acrew Capital, Meron Capital and Flint Capital.

Nokod’s 2023 announcement also cited projections for the broader low-code development and cybersecurity markets. Those figures were forecasts, not evidence of Nokod’s revenue, market share or results, and they do not establish current market size.
