Yes. GL.iNet’s Beryl AX (model GL-MT3000) is a specifically documented example: it measures 120 × 83 × 34 mm, weighs 196 g, and is listed at $98.99 on GL.iNet’s US store. That size is small enough to pack alongside ordinary travel gear, although the router still needs a suitable USB-C power source and the maker’s price, stock, tax and shipping can change.
The compact router that matches the brief
GL.iNet describes the Beryl AX as “A Pocket-sized Wi-Fi 6 Router for Home and Travel.” Its manufacturer-listed dimensions are 120 × 83 × 34 mm and its listed weight is 196 g. Those figures make it a practical carry-on item by physical size; they do not represent an independently measured packing test.
The cited GL.iNet Store listing shows a price of $98.99 (accessed in 2026). Treat that as a manufacturer-store listing rather than a guaranteed checkout total: regional pricing, taxes, shipping, inventory and promotions may differ. No Amazon price or inventory is established here.

Which model makes sense for a traveler?
Choose the Beryl AX when size and verified specifications matter
The Beryl AX is the clearer choice when you want a documented 196 g device with published dimensions, a 2.5-Gbps WAN port and a price below $100 on the maker’s store. Its physical measurements let you check available space in a personal item or carry-on before buying.
Consider the Slate AX when its VPN claims fit your use
The Slate AX costs more at the cited store price and has no dimension or weight figure in the available material. Its listing advertises VPN throughput of up to 500 Mbps with OpenVPN DCO and up to 550 Mbps with WireGuard. Those numbers are vendor claims, so they should not be treated as guaranteed performance on a particular hotel, apartment or office connection.

- Reserve a space at least 120 × 83 × 34 mm for the Beryl AX, with room for its cable and charger.
- Include a USB-C power source capable of the listed 5V/3A input.
- Pack an Ethernet cable if you expect to connect to a wired room or office network.
- Check the property’s rules and network terms before attaching a personal router.
- Expect the actual price to vary by region and checkout conditions; verify the live listing before purchase.
