Performance and software
Snapdragon 8 Gen 3
The OnePlus 13R uses Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 platform. OnePlus confirms the processor, but the supplied official material does not provide an independent benchmark or battery-runtime result. Performance should therefore be understood as a hardware specification rather than a guaranteed score or gaming frame rate.
OxygenOS 15
OnePlus lists OxygenOS 15.0 based on Android 15. A phone purchased later can show a newer build after updates, so the version on the specification page is the launch-era software reference rather than a promise of the permanently installed version.
Display
The 13R has a 6.78-inch panel with a precise resolution of 2780 × 1264 pixels and a stated density of 450 pixels per inch. Its refresh rate dynamically ranges from 1Hz to 120Hz. OnePlus markets the panel as a 120Hz ProXDR display using LTPO 4.1 technology, allowing the refresh rate to vary instead of remaining fixed at 120Hz in every situation.
Battery and charging by region
Capacity figures
OnePlus quotes a 6,000mAh typical single-cell battery. The India specification page separately states a 5,860mAh rated capacity and 23.58Wh typical energy. Typical and rated values are different reporting conventions; neither number is a measured screen-on-time result.
Charging differences
| Market listing | Stated charging | What to check |
|---|---|---|
| India | 80W SUPERVOOC | Confirm the charger supplied or bundled for the specific sale |
| North America | 55W | OnePlus says up to 80W is possible with specified OnePlus adapters |
Do not assume that an India 80W configuration, an included charger or the same charging speed applies in every country. Adapter compatibility and the regional product bundle matter.
Cameras
Rear camera system
- 50MP main: Sony LYT-700 sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS).
- 50MP telephoto: 2× optical zoom; the North American page names sensor S5KJN5.
- 8MP ultra-wide: for a wider field of view than the main camera.
The dedicated 2× telephoto is an optical camera, not merely a crop from the main sensor. OnePlus’ specifications do not, by themselves, establish image quality in different lighting conditions.
Front camera
The front-facing camera is listed as 16MP.
RAM, storage and regional configurations
India lists two configurations: 12GB RAM with 256GB storage and 16GB RAM with 512GB storage. The same India listing specifies LPDDR5X memory and UFS 4.0 storage. North America lists a 12GB/256GB configuration. The India 16GB/512GB model should not be treated as globally available without checking the local OnePlus store or retailer.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone.Build, dimensions and water resistance
The North American listing gives dimensions of 161.72 × 75.77 × 8.02mm and a weight of 206g. India presents the dimensions in rounded centimetres—16.17 × 7.58 × 0.80cm—while also listing 206g; the difference is unit rounding, not a different size.

IP65 means protection against dust and low-pressure water jets under the rating’s test conditions. It does not mean the phone is waterproof or safe to submerge. OnePlus states that immersion is not protected and that liquid damage is excluded from warranty coverage. Keep the phone away from pools, sinks and deliberate dunking even if the ports and seals appear intact.

Quick Recap
What the launch specifications establish—and what they do not
- They establish the announced date, processor, display dimensions and refresh range, battery capacities, camera hardware, regional configurations and IP rating.
- They do not establish independent battery endurance, benchmark scores, camera rankings or a universal retail date.
- They do not make regional charging speeds, bundled chargers or memory tiers interchangeable.
