How ScreenshotOne credits and usage work
One supported output uses one credit
ScreenshotOne’s credits documentation states that each available supported output consumes one credit: a normal screenshot, full-page or scrolling screenshot, PDF, or video. A request that produces multiple separately billed outputs can therefore use multiple credits. Credits reset at the start of each billing cycle and do not roll over.
Failed requests generally cost nothing
According to ScreenshotOne’s pricing FAQ, requests that fail with an HTTP, browser, or network error do not count toward your credits. Cached screenshots generally do not consume a credit; a cache miss that triggers a new render can consume one. Treat a unique, uncached successful render as the normal billable case.
What happens when you exceed the allowance
Extra usage is off by default. An organization owner or administrator must raise the hard limit in Billing before paid overages can occur. After that setting is enabled, successful uncached requests above the included allowance are charged at the plan’s listed extra-usage rate until the configured hard limit is reached.

The hard limit is a spending and traffic safeguard, not an automatic entitlement to the maximum volume. You choose a limit in Billing; successful billable requests stop counting once that limit is reached. If your forecast is above a tier’s ceiling, plan an upgrade or speak with ScreenshotOne before production traffic hits the cap.
Annual billing, cancellation, and refunds
Annual subscriptions
ScreenshotOne advertises two months free with annual billing. Monthly quotas remain the same, so annual billing changes the payment schedule rather than increasing the monthly screenshot allowance. Verify the checkout total and renewal terms for your account before switching.

Cancellation
Cancellation leaves the current paid cycle active. When that cycle ends, no new credits are issued and unused credits expire; there is no rollover into a later month.
Refund window
ScreenshotOne says paid plans can be refunded in full when requested within 30 days. Keep the request within that stated period and follow the billing support process for your account.

Estimate before subscribing
- Count every output your workflow requests, including PDFs, videos, and full-page captures.
- Subtract renders that are reliably served from cache.
- Multiply the remaining successful renders by the number of months in your billing cycle.
- Compare that figure with the included allowance and leave room for retries, previews, and traffic spikes.

A request failed but usage changed

Overage charges are not appearing
Extra usage is disabled by default. An owner or administrator must raise the hard limit in Billing; without that setting, requests stop at the permitted limit instead of generating paid extras.
Requests stop before the expected monthly volume
Check the plan’s requests-per-minute limit, the configured hard limit, and whether the billing cycle has reset. Basic is limited to 40 requests per minute, Growth to 80, and Scale to 150.
