Google’s food-themed baseball game is the “Fourth of July 2019” Doodle, launched on July 4, 2019—not a new July Fourth release. You can play it from Google’s Doodle archive or open the game directly.
The current archive also lists a separate Fourth of July 2026 Doodle: an American-flag video celebrating the USA’s 250th anniversary, launched July 3, 2026. That newer Doodle is not the baseball game.
Where to find the food baseball game
- Open the official Fourth of July 2019 Doodle archive page.
- Use the embedded interactive frame on that page to open or play the game.
- Alternatively, open the direct game URL.
The archive route identifies the Doodle, its date, its creators, and the embedded game in one place.
What the Doodle is about
Google describes the experience as an interactive backyard BBQ ball game. Instead of human baseball players, the game features personified American summer foods. The objective is to bat the ball and get a chance to “hit it out of the park.”

Why the “new July Fourth Doodle” description is misleading
The baseball-and-food Doodle is often recirculated around Independence Day and described as if it had just launched. Its official launch date is July 4, 2019. It is an archived Doodle, not a newly released July Fourth game.
