There was no official Roblox or Blox Fruits tier list in December 2025. The tiers below are editorial rankings, and the right fruit depends on whether you are grinding levels, fighting players, completing sea content, or looking for mobility.
One important naming change affects older guides: Update 28 reworked Leopard into Tiger on October 31, 2025. Likewise, Falcon became Eagle in Update 26, Barrier became Creation in Update 26, and Rumble became Lightning in Update 27.0. A December guide that still calls the fruit Leopard is using the pre-Update-28 name unless it is specifically discussing the old version.
December 2025 Blox Fruits tier list
This table follows a December 10, 2025 community ranking, with names updated to match the December 2025 game version. It is a useful snapshot of community opinion, not an in-game classification.

The source list used “Leopard,” but that name was replaced by Tiger in Update 28. It also used the older names Falcon and Barrier; the current names are Eagle and Creation.

Best fruits by activity
Best for grinding: Awakened Buddha
Awakened Buddha remains one of the strongest choices for ordinary PvE grinding because its transformation makes melee and sword attacks easier to use at close range. It is especially practical when fighting groups of NPCs and bosses rather than trying to move quickly between distant targets.
Calling Buddha “the best fruit” without qualification is misleading. Its main advantage is grinding. The same fruit can rank differently for PvP, mobility, or sea events. Some community articles also describe a Buddha reach or hitbox glitch as if it were a guaranteed feature. That is a glitch claim, not a documented intended mechanic, so builds should not depend on it.
Best all-round high-end choices: Kitsune and Tiger
Kitsune is a strong general-purpose pick for players who want damage, mobility, and PvP potential in one fruit. Tiger is the current name and version of the fruit formerly known as Leopard. Because Update 28 reworked it and added the Werewolf fruit mutation, older Leopard guides may not accurately describe the December version.
These are expensive, late-game-style choices. Their position near the top of a community list does not mean they are automatically better for a new player than an easier-to-use grinding fruit.

Best for PvP: Awakened Dough, Kitsune, and Portal
Awakened Dough is valued for combo potential and pressure in player fights. Kitsune offers a more mobile, aggressive style, while Portal is useful for players who prioritize movement, repositioning, and controlling the pace of an encounter.
PvP rankings are particularly subjective: mastery, build, connection quality, aim, race choice, and familiarity with a fruit can matter more than a letter grade. A fruit placed in A tier can outperform an S-tier fruit when the player knows its combos and the opponent does not.
Best for sea events and sustained damage: Awakened Magma
Awakened Magma is a specialist choice for players who want strong damage against large targets and sea-related content. It may not provide the same mobility or PvP flexibility as Portal or Kitsune, but its damage profile makes it valuable in the situations it is designed for.

Light is still an attractive progression fruit because its movement is convenient and its attacks are approachable. Portal is the more combat-oriented mobility choice for players who already understand positioning and want to move in and out of fights quickly.

Why tier lists disagree
Different lists answer different questions. A PvE list may reward damage against NPCs, attack range, transformation benefits, and ease of grinding. A PvP list may instead reward stun tools, combo routes, mobility, and how difficult the fruit is to counter.
For example, one November 2025 editorial list placed Buddha in B tier for PvE but S tier for PvP. That is not necessarily a contradiction: it reflects different scoring criteria. The same list also contains inconsistencies, including Kitsune appearing in two PvP tiers and Blade appearing in both S and D tiers. It should therefore be treated as editorial guidance rather than a definitive database.
What changed in December 2025
Update 29.0: Control, Dungeons, and Trinkets
Update 29.0 released on December 23, 2025. It reworked Control, added Control to the Admin Panel, introduced Dungeon Mode, and added Trinkets. Dungeon access was verified through either of these methods:
- Talk to Lucian.
- Open the Server Browser and select the Dungeon button at the bottom right.
Early post-update fixes addressed several practical problems, including dungeon bosses randomly dying or despawning, accessories failing to display in Inventory, fruit skins and Dragon being incorrectly untradeable, players returning to Sea 1 after leaving a dungeon, missing Flashstep and Race cooldown animations on the ability bar, and malfunctioning mobile top-bar buttons and console inventory controls.

Control’s price was changed from 3.2 million to 9 million. That price change matters when deciding whether to chase a fruit purely because it appears high on a list.
Update 29.1: the winter event
Update 29.1 released on December 25, 2025. It added the Empyrean mutation for Kitsune, the Winter Holiday Event, Free to Play Gacha, and the Winter 2025 Fruit Box.
Candy was used with the returning Holiday NPCs and for Free to Play Gacha rolls. On December 26, Candy enemy drop rates were fixed, Dungeons began awarding Candy on the end screen, and the Free to Play Gacha cost was reduced to 100 Candy per roll.

Other interface advice also changed during 2025. The stash received a slight rework under Inventory in Update 27.4. Eating a physical fruit gained a confirmation prompt in Update 27.1, and the Ally FX setting was added. On September 27, Dragon transformation became immune to all stuns and Dragon received a 7% defense buff. The codes button was moved and the update Log was removed, but the available update records do not verify the codes button’s new exact location. They also do not verify a chat or console command syntax, so a typed slash command should not be presented as the official redemption method.

- Choose the activity first. For routine NPC grinding, prioritize Buddha or another easy-to-control PvE fruit. For PvP, look for combos, mobility, and reliable stuns.
- Check the current name and version. A Leopard guide may actually be describing the pre-Update-28 fruit, while Falcon and Barrier guides may use names no longer shown in-game.
- Consider mastery and availability. A fruit you can obtain and use immediately is often more useful than a higher-ranked fruit requiring a difficult trade or extensive mastery.
- Test the moveset. Damage numbers alone do not show whether attacks are easy to land, whether they interrupt enemies, or whether the fruit leaves you vulnerable.
- Do not treat glitches as features. If a guide says a hitbox or reach exploit makes a fruit effortless, regard that as unreliable and potentially temporary.
