The Google Pixel 10a is the better fit if you want a smaller, lighter phone with wireless charging and a stronger listed water-resistance rating. Choose the Nothing Phone (4a) if you prefer a larger screen or want a dedicated optical-zoom camera. Neither is a universal winner: prices depend on country and storage, and the cited comparison does not establish a battery-life or real-world performance winner.

Display brightness figures come from manufacturer or comparison listings, not matched independent testing, so they do not prove which screen is brighter in everyday use. Likewise, megapixel counts alone do not establish camera quality. Compare the storage configuration actually sold in your region before choosing.
Which phone has the better screen and design?
Pixel 10a: easier to carry
At 6.3 inches and 183g, the Pixel 10a is the more compact and lighter choice based on Google’s specifications. Its 60–120Hz display is smaller and has a lower listed resolution than the Nothing’s, but the size may be more comfortable if you want a phone that takes up less space in your hand or pocket.

Nothing Phone (4a): more room to view
Nothing’s 6.8-inch display offers substantially more screen area and a listed 120Hz refresh rate. It is the more natural option if you prioritize a large view for video, reading, or games, and are comfortable with a 205g phone. Those are size and specification trade-offs, not evidence that one panel looks better in person.

How do the cameras differ?
The Pixel has two rear cameras: a 48MP wide camera and a 13MP ultrawide. Google lists up to 8x Super Res Zoom, a computational zoom feature. Nothing has three rear cameras in PhoneArena’s comparison, including a dedicated periscope telephoto camera with 3.5x optical zoom; Nothing advertises up to 70x zoom.
The clearest hardware distinction is the Nothing’s separate optical telephoto camera, which gives it a dedicated lens for distant subjects. The Pixel’s listed ultrawide has a higher megapixel count than Nothing’s, but that alone does not determine image quality. The cited specifications do not provide comparable hands-on photo testing, so they cannot settle which phone takes better pictures overall.

Performance, battery, and software support
Processors and everyday speed
The Pixel uses Google Tensor G4, while the Nothing uses Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 4. These are different platforms, but the cited comparison supplies no matched benchmarks or hands-on speed tests. It would be misleading to declare a performance winner from the chip names alone.

Battery capacity is not battery life
The listed capacities—5,100mAh typical for Pixel and 5,080mAh for Nothing—are close on paper, but capacity does not determine runtime by itself. PhoneArena marks the Pixel battery tests as untested, so the available comparison does not support a reliable battery-life winner. Google’s stated charging rate requires a 45W USB-C PPS charger or higher, which is sold separately; Nothing’s listed wired charging is 50W.

Update commitment
PhoneArena lists Android 16 and up to 7 OS updates for the Pixel, compared with Android 16 and up to 3 OS updates for Nothing. That comparison gives the Pixel the longer listed update horizon. Check the manufacturers’ current regional support terms before treating an update count as a firm end date.
How much do the Pixel 10a and Nothing Phone (4a) cost?
The cited prices are for different markets and configurations, so they are not a like-for-like price gap. Treat them as market-specific listings, not as a universal comparison.

Choose the Google Pixel 10a if
- You prefer a smaller, lighter phone.
- You want Qi wireless charging.
- You value the stronger listed ingress rating: Google specifies IP68.
- The longer OS-update count reported by PhoneArena matters to you.
