The Google Pixel 10a is the smaller phone and had the lower US launch price reference; the Samsung Galaxy S25 FE gives you a larger display and a dedicated telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom. The better fit depends on whether portability and price or screen size and optical reach matter more. Their launch prices are not a reliable guide to today’s price gap.

How much more did the Galaxy S25 FE cost at launch?
For the US launch-price reference, Google announced the Pixel 10a at $499 in 2026. Android Central reported the Galaxy S25 FE’s original US launch price as $650, a $151 difference before tax. That is a comparison of launch-price references, not a current offer or today’s price gap. The S25 FE has since appeared at lower prices, and a directly comparable current pair of prices was not established.
Check both phones in the same country, with matching storage capacity and the same unlocked or carrier status. Promotions, retailer offers, warranty terms and regional configurations can change which costs less. Do not compare a US price with a price in another currency or market.
#1 Best Overall
- Read Before You Buy — No Video Output: These adapters support charging and USB 2.0 data transfer, but cannot transmit video signals. Except for standard USB webcams (which use USB data only), they are not compatible with HDMI/DisplayPort cables, video-capable USB-C hubs, or docking stations with video output.
- Convert USB-A Ports to USB-C: Designed to connect USB-C earphones, cables, flash drives, card readers, and other USB-C accessories to standard USB-A ports. Plug-and-play with no drivers or software required.
- Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
Which phone is better for screen size and portability?
The Pixel 10a is the more compact choice: Google lists a 6.3-inch display and a weight of 183g. Samsung lists the S25 FE at 6.7 inches and 190g. The Samsung is 7g heavier and 7.4mm taller, so it takes up more space while offering more display area. Both manufacturers list refresh rates reaching 120Hz; the Pixel specification gives a 60–120Hz range, while Samsung says up to 120Hz.
Choose by how you prefer to use a phone: the larger Samsung screen may suit video, reading or multitasking, while the smaller Pixel is the more sensible starting point if a compact handset matters. Display size alone does not establish which screen looks better.

Which phone has the better camera?
The clearest hardware distinction is zoom. Samsung specifies a separate 8MP telephoto camera and 3x optical zoom on the S25 FE. Google’s cited Pixel 10a specifications list a dual rear-camera system but do not establish its detailed sensor configuration here. If you specifically want a dedicated telephoto lens for optical reach, the Samsung has the documented advantage.
These specifications do not prove which phone takes better photos overall. Image processing, low-light performance and video quality require comparative tests; no independent head-to-head results are established here. Do not treat megapixel counts or the number of rear cameras as a complete measure of camera quality.

Battery capacity, charging and performance
Google lists a typical 5,100mAh battery for the Pixel 10a; Samsung lists a typical 4,900mAh battery for the S25 FE. Capacity figures alone cannot tell you which lasts longer in everyday use, because actual endurance depends on the display, software and usage. No comparable battery test is established here.
The phones use different chips: Tensor G4 in the Pixel and Exynos 2400 in the S25 FE. Those names do not settle which is faster or performs better under sustained workloads; no independent comparative benchmark is established here. For Pixel charging, Google says a 45W USB-C PPS charger or higher is sold separately for its stated charging claim. Confirm the compatible charger and what is included in the box for the exact model and market.

Software and regional details to check
Samsung’s 2025 corporate report described the S25 FE with Android 16 and One UI 8.0 at the time of reporting; this should not be read as a guarantee of its current version. Check the manufacturer’s current product or support information for both phones’ software versions and update policies before relying on a dated claim about support duration.
Manufacturer specifications and offers can vary by market. Before placing an order, confirm the regional model and storage, local network-band compatibility, unlocked or carrier status, included charger or other accessories, warranty and any promotion terms on the seller’s listing.

Which should you buy?
- Choose the Pixel 10a if you prefer the smaller 6.3-inch form factor, want Google’s software experience and its verified current price fits your budget.
- Choose the Galaxy S25 FE if you want the larger 6.7-inch display and a dedicated telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom, and its current price is acceptable.
Make the final price comparison only after matching country, storage and sales status. The $151 US launch-price difference is historical context, not a prediction of which phone is cheaper now.
