Some OnePlus TVs have Chromecast built in, but the feature is not established for every model or regional version. One officially documented example is the OnePlus TV 65 Q2 Pro. Check the specifications or manual for your exact TV before relying on Chromecast.
Does OnePlus TV have Chromecast?
Yes, on some models. OnePlus India’s specifications for the OnePlus TV 65 Q2 Pro list Google TV (Android 11) and “Chromecast built-in” among its casting features. That confirms the feature for that named model, not for the entire OnePlus TV range.
Older OnePlus Community guides also report built-in Chromecast on the U1S, Y1, and 55U1. Those posts are secondary, model-specific references rather than a current, complete compatibility list. OnePlus’s official materials do not provide a full model-by-model and region-by-region matrix, so verify your specific TV in its current documentation.
How to check whether your OnePlus TV supports Chromecast
- Find the TV’s exact model name and, if relevant, its regional version on the TV label, in its settings, or in the paperwork that came with it.
- Open that model’s official specifications or user manual on OnePlus’s TV support page.
- Look for “Chromecast built-in” or equivalent wording in the casting or software features. Do not infer support just from the OnePlus name or from another model’s specifications.
How do I cast to my OnePlus TV?
Cast video from a supported app
- Connect the phone and TV to the same network. OnePlus’s support FAQ says to “Ensure your OnePlus TV and mobile under the same network.”
- Open a supported video-on-demand app, such as YouTube, Zee5, or Prime Video.
- Start or select playback, then tap the app’s “CAST” icon and choose the TV if it appears.
These are OnePlus’s general support instructions; availability and behavior can differ by app, phone, network, and TV configuration.

Mirror the phone screen with Miracast
OnePlus also describes using the Connect app to invoke Miracast for screen sharing. This is a separate screen-mirroring method—not the same feature as Chromecast app casting. Choose the method that matches your goal: use an app’s CAST control to send supported video, or use the Miracast instructions when you want to share the phone screen.
Why can’t my phone find my OnePlus TV?
- Check the network: Confirm that the phone and TV are on the same network, as OnePlus advises.
- Use the app’s cast control: For app casting, open a supported video app and look for its CAST icon on the playback page.
- Verify the model and feature: Check the exact TV’s official documentation to confirm that the desired casting method is supported.
- Consult model-specific help: If the TV still does not appear, use the manuals or troubleshooting resources linked from OnePlus’s TV support page. The network check is a first troubleshooting step, not a guarantee that it will resolve every connection problem.
