Apple A18 leads the cited Geekbench 6 CPU results, while Samsung Exynos 2400 scores higher in the cited 3DMark Steel Nomad Light graphics test. That makes the result workload-dependent, not a universal win for either chip. The figures come from different phones and unequal user-submitted samples, so use them as a comparison snapshot—not a controlled, same-device test.
Apple A18 vs Exynos 2400 specifications
The chips differ in their CPU and GPU configurations. Samsung describes the Exynos 2400 as a deca-core CPU paired with a hexa-core Xclipse 940 GPU based on AMD RDNA 3. Apple’s A18 is the processor in the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus; the cited material does not provide a like-for-like specification breakdown for both chips, so a fuller spec table would imply unsupported equivalence.
Exynos 2400 features Samsung documents
- Third-generation 4 nm low-power process node.
- Xclipse 940 GPU based on AMD RDNA 3, with hardware-accelerated ray tracing.
- Camera support up to 320 MP and 8K video recording support.
- Fan-out Wafer Level Packaging (FOWLP). Samsung says the packaging is intended to help thermal management; this is a manufacturer claim, not an independent comparative test.

NanoReview’s comparison page, accessed October 7, 2026, lists the following Geekbench 6 results:

In this comparison, A18 scores higher in both CPU tests. The sample counts are unequal, and the results are not described as coming from identical phones under controlled conditions. 3DMark: Exynos 2400 leads the cited graphics result
On the same NanoReview comparison page, the 3DMark Steel Nomad Light score is 1,769 for Exynos 2400 and 1,579 for A18. Exynos 2400 therefore leads this particular listed graphics test. A synthetic graphics score does not establish which chip delivers better frame rates, image quality, or sustained performance in a specific game.
The page also lists stability figures of 67% for Exynos 2400 and 75% for A18. These figures are test-specific stability results, not general measures of phone reliability or battery life. They should not be used to infer performance during a particular game or a long real-world session without matching device and test details.

Why benchmark results do not settle which chip is faster
Each benchmark measures a different workload
Geekbench 6 CPU scores and a 3DMark graphics score answer different questions. A chip can lead in CPU work and trail in a graphics test without the results contradicting each other. The benchmark that matters most depends on whether you care about CPU-heavy tasks, graphics workloads, or a particular app or game.
The comparison is not a same-phone experiment
Geekbench’s mobile chart associates A18 with iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus entries, and Exynos 2400 with Galaxy S24 and S24+ entries. Its results are user-submitted and represent different devices, not a direct, controlled chip-only comparison. Phone design, cooling, software, and other device-level differences can affect results. AnTuTu totals are not a reliable cross-platform verdict
NanoReview lists AnTuTu 11 totals of 2,046,435 for Exynos 2400 and 1,972,476 for A18, but the page warns that AnTuTu results from iOS and Android are not directly comparable. The narrow numerical difference should not be presented as a definitive ranking between these chips.

Check the Galaxy model and region before comparing phones
Galaxy S24-series chipset variants can differ by market. The benchmark chart’s association of Exynos 2400 with Galaxy S24 and S24+ entries does not mean every S24 or S24+ sold worldwide uses that chip. Before applying these results to a purchase, verify the exact model number and chipset for the phone available in your region.
