The iQOO 15 and Apple iPhone 18 Pro are both premium phones, but the available launch prices come from different countries and cannot be subtracted to produce a fair price difference. iQOO’s published specifications emphasize a high-refresh-rate display, large battery, and fast charging; Apple highlights its A20 Pro chip, pro-video tools, and iOS features. The better choice depends on your local price, preferred software ecosystem, and which features matter most.

How much does each phone cost?
Apple announced a U.S. launch starting price of $1,199 for iPhone 18 Pro on September 9, 2026. In India, Android Central reported iQOO 15 launch prices of ₹72,999 for 12 GB/256 GB and ₹79,999 for 16 GB/512 GB. Those iQOO figures are launch prices, not confirmed current street prices. Random freezes, missing sound and display glitches usually trace back to one bad driver. To compare what you would actually pay, check same-day unlocked prices in one country for the same storage capacity, then account for local warranty, taxes, carrier financing, and trade-in offers separately.

What the display and performance specifications mean
Display
iQOO specifies a 6.85-inch, 3168 × 1440 AMOLED screen with a refresh rate up to 144 Hz. A high refresh rate can make supported motion, such as scrolling or compatible games, appear smoother; whether that difference matters depends on your use. The cited Apple materials do not provide a directly comparable display specification, so this comparison does not assign a numeric display advantage to either phone.
Performance
The iQOO 15 uses Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, while iPhone 18 Pro uses Apple A20 Pro. Apple also says its new vapor-chamber thermal design enables up to 40% higher sustained performance than the previous iPhone generation. That is Apple’s own generational claim, not an independent benchmark against the iQOO 15. No controlled head-to-head test is established here, so processor names alone cannot settle which is faster in a particular app or over a long gaming session.

Battery life and charging are not directly comparable
iQOO lists a 7,000 mAh typical battery and 100 W wired charging on its global specification page. Its India specifications also list 40 W wireless charging. iQOO’s India product overview publishes company figures of 10.5 hours of gaming, 32.6 hours of continuous video streaming, and 22.6 hours of social-media use; these are manufacturer claims tied to its own lab and usage conditions, not an independent comparison with Apple.

Apple rates iPhone 18 Pro for up to 36 hours of video playback, or up to 33 hours of streamed video. Apple says wired charging can reach around 50% in about 15 minutes with a 60 W-capable adapter or higher and a USB-C cable; both are sold separately. Its wireless estimate is around 50% in about 30 minutes with a 35 W adapter or higher and a MagSafe Charger, also sold separately. These Apple playback and charging estimates use different measures from iQOO’s claims and should not be treated as a controlled battery-life contest. Camera hardware and video features
iQOO lists three 50 MP rear cameras—a main, wide-angle, and periscope camera—and a 32 MP front camera. Its India page identifies the main sensor as Sony IMX921 and the 3× periscope as Sony IMX882. Apple lists a 48 MP Fusion Main camera with variable aperture and an 18 MP Center Stage front camera. Megapixel counts and feature lists do not establish which phone produces better images: results also depend on optics, processing, shooting conditions, and the photographer.
Apple’s technical specifications list professional capture options including ProRes video up to 4K/120 fps with external recording, ProRes RAW, and Apple Log 2. Those formats may matter to people with a compatible editing workflow; they are not a general guarantee of better casual video. iQOO’s cited specification material establishes its camera hardware but does not supply a directly comparable controlled image-quality result.

Storage, software, and regional details
Configurations
iQOO’s global page lists 12 GB/256 GB, 16 GB/512 GB, and 16 GB/1 TB configurations. The India page lists only 12 GB/256 GB and 16 GB/512 GB, so do not assume the 1 TB model is sold in your market. Apple lists iPhone 18 Pro in 256 GB, 512 GB, 1 TB, and 2 TB capacities. Confirm the specific model and storage tier available locally before comparing prices.
The Tool Desk
Outbyte Driver Updater FREEFix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesFind Drivers →Outbyte PC Repair FREERepair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsFix Now →Software and ecosystem
iQOO’s global specifications identify Android 16 with OriginOS 6; Apple identifies iOS 27, Apple Intelligence, and Siri AI features for iPhone 18 Pro. The practical choice is partly an ecosystem decision: consider the apps, services, accessories, and other devices you already rely on. The listed software versions and features are manufacturer information, not a guarantee that every feature is available in every language or region.
Network, SIM, and warranty
iQOO lists dual nano-SIM and cellular bands on its global page. Apple’s technical specifications give model-specific band and SIM details, and Apple notes that eSIM-only models are sold in selected countries and regions. If importing either phone, verify the exact model number, supported bands, SIM arrangement, local warranty coverage, and carrier compatibility for your country. Regional variants may differ.
Which phone should you choose?
- Consider iQOO 15 if its locally sold configuration and price suit you, and you prioritize the listed 144 Hz display, 7,000 mAh battery, high-wattage wired charging, or Android with OriginOS.
- Consider iPhone 18 Pro if you prefer iOS and Apple’s ecosystem, want the listed professional video formats, or value Apple’s stated video-playback and charging capabilities.
- Compare locally before deciding if price is the deciding factor. Use the same country, purchase date, storage tier, and purchase basis, and check carrier support and warranty alongside the sticker price.
Apple’s executive Greg Joswiak described the iPhone 18 Pro as a major step forward in camera, performance, battery, and intelligence in the company’s launch announcement. That is Apple’s marketing characterization, not independent evidence of superiority over iQOO 15.
