The realme P3x is the much newer and stronger choice on paper: it adds 5G, a 120Hz FHD+ display, a newer chipset, a larger stated battery and 45W charging. The Samsung Galaxy A20s is a 2019 entry-level phone with a 4G-era Snapdragon 450, an HD+ display and 15W charging. A current price difference cannot be calculated reliably from the available listing snapshot because the A20s was marked unavailable.

Samsung’s specifications and original India launch prices come from its 9 October 2019 launch announcement. The current realme India product page lists the P3x’s chipset, display, camera, charging, battery capacities and IP69 resistance: realme P3x 5G. Model generation and launch software are reported by comparison listings from 91mobiles and Gadgets 360.
Which phone is better for performance and 5G?
The P3x has the clear specification advantage. Its Dimensity 6400 chipset is a newer platform, and realme identifies it as a 5G phone. The A20s uses the Snapdragon 450 and is a 4G-era device. These differences make the P3x the more suitable option if 5G access or a more recent hardware platform matters to you.

How do their displays compare?
The A20s has a 6.5-inch HD+ Infinity-V display. The P3x is advertised with a 120Hz FHD+ eye-comfort display, giving it both a higher stated resolution and refresh rate. That makes the P3x the stronger on-paper option for sharper detail and smoother supported scrolling. The specifications alone do not establish which screen has better brightness, color accuracy or outdoor visibility.
Which phone has the better camera?
The A20s offers three rear cameras: a 13MP main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide camera and a 5MP depth camera. realme advertises a 50MP camera for the P3x. The A20s therefore offers a specifically listed ultra-wide camera, while the P3x’s headline figure is a higher-resolution main camera.

Those figures and camera counts do not determine photo quality. The available information does not establish comparative image processing, low-light results, video quality or whether the P3x provides an equivalent ultra-wide view. Choose based on the camera features you need, not megapixels alone.

Samsung lists a 4,000mAh battery and 15W charging for the A20s. realme lists the P3x at 6,000mAh typical capacity, with 5,860mAh rated capacity, and 45W charging. The P3x therefore leads in both stated capacity and charging rate. The 6,000mAh figure is typical, not the rated capacity; both values are stated on realme’s product page.

What is the price difference?
The comparison listing snapshot showed the P3x at ₹12,999 and the A20s as unavailable. That is not enough to calculate a meaningful current price difference: the A20s has no available price in that snapshot, and the P3x figure is not verified as a live or universal price.

Which phone should you choose?
- Choose the realme P3x if you want 5G, a newer chipset, a 120Hz FHD+ display, faster stated charging or a larger stated battery.
- Consider the Galaxy A20s only if you have a specific reason to use this older model, such as a suitable available used unit or its listed ultra-wide rear camera. Its original launch specifications do not establish current condition, software support or resale value.
Neither the generation comparison nor manufacturer specifications establish the phones’ current software builds or remaining security-update periods. realme also advertises IP69 resistance, military-grade shock resistance and battery-health claims for the P3x; treat these as manufacturer claims, not independent durability-test results.
