Press Volume− on your VANKYO projector remote. If that doesn’t change the sound, lower the volume on the connected streaming stick, computer, or phone instead.
Turn down the volume with the projector remote
- Point the remote at the projector and press Volume− repeatedly until the sound is comfortable.
- If you need silence and your remote has a Mute button, press it. The VANKYO Leisure 3W manual shows both Volume− and Mute, but button layouts can differ by model. See the Leisure 3W manual.
Use the connected device if the remote does not work
Adjust volume on the device sending video to the projector, such as a streaming stick, computer, or phone. VANKYO lists the source device as another way to adjust sound in its FAQ.
Check your model’s controls
If the remote has different buttons or the controls do not respond, find your projector model in VANKYO’s manual index and follow its instructions. The Leisure 3W button labels do not establish that every VANKYO projector uses the same remote layout.

If you use an external speaker
VANKYO says an external speaker can connect through the projector’s Audio Out port, which the FAQ identifies as a 3.5 mm port. In that setup, adjust the speaker’s own volume if the projector or source controls do not change its sound.

Replacing a missing or faulty remote
Before buying a replacement remote, match it to your exact projector model and confirm it has the volume controls you need. VANKYO’s model-specific manuals do not establish universal compatibility across its projectors.
