In the U.S., download Amazon Flex from the Apple App Store or Google Play, or use the device-specific QR code on Amazon’s official Download App page. The app is mobile-only, so install it on the phone you plan to use. Check the current requirements for your country and phone before installing; platform availability and compatibility rules vary by region.
Check whether your phone is compatible
Amazon’s U.S. FAQ lists the following minimum requirements. They may change, so confirm them in the current U.S. FAQ and the relevant store listing before installing.

Android phones in the U.S.
- Android 13 or later, with Google Play Store services enabled.
- At least 3 GB of RAM, a 5-megapixel camera, and a 4500 mAh battery.
- GPS location services and a SIM card.
- A device that meets Google security standards, is not rooted, and has Google Play Protect enabled.
Amazon also identifies specific unsupported models in its FAQ; check the live list rather than relying on a copied list that may be out of date.

Your iPhone must support iOS 17 or later, and iOS 17 or later must be installed. The Apple App Store listing also specifies iOS 17.0 or later. View the Amazon Flex App Store listing.

Download and install the app in the U.S.
- Use the phone that will run Amazon Flex. Amazon says the app is available only on mobile devices, not as a desktop installation. Open the official Amazon Flex Download App page on your phone if you want to use its device-specific QR code.
- Open the official app store. On iPhone, open the Apple App Store. On Android, open Google Play.
- Search for “Amazon Flex.” Check that the listing is Amazon’s before installing. Google Play identifies the publisher as Amazon Mobile LLC. You can also open the store listing directly: Amazon Flex on Google Play or Amazon Flex on the Apple App Store.
- Tap the install button. If the app is already installed, use the store to check for an update. Amazon’s U.S. FAQ directs users to search for Amazon Flex in Google Play or the Apple App Store to install updates.
- Open the app and sign in or continue sign-up. Installing the app is not the same as completing Amazon Flex onboarding.
Use Amazon’s page or the official app stores rather than third-party download sites. Do not install an APK from an unofficial source or disable phone security protections to make an installation work.
What to do if you cannot find or install it
- Check your phone’s operating-system version against the current regional requirements.
- Check whether your phone model is supported in the local Amazon Flex FAQ.
- On Android, confirm Google Play services are enabled and that the device meets Amazon’s security requirements, including being non-rooted with Google Play Protect enabled.
- Retry from Google Play, the Apple App Store, or the official Amazon Download App page for your country.
- If installation still fails, use the support route in your local Amazon Flex site. There is no single published fix established for every installation error.
Availability and eligibility depend on your country
Do not assume the U.S. platform or device rules apply worldwide. Amazon’s India materials describe an Android download route through Google Play and country-specific requirements. Start with the Amazon Flex India FAQ and its Android instructions if you are in India. For other countries, use the local Amazon Flex site to check supported platforms, phone requirements, and eligibility.

In the U.S., Amazon’s download page lists living in a city where Flex operates, being at least 21, having a valid U.S. driver’s license and Social Security number, an eligible vehicle and insurance, a smartphone, and a bank account as onboarding prerequisites. These are not all requirements merely to download the app, and eligibility rules differ by market. Check the official U.S. download and onboarding page for current details.
