You can download selected movies in the Paramount+ app on a supported iPhone, iPad, or Android phone or tablet, provided your subscription plan includes downloads. Open a movie’s page and tap its download icon; when it finishes, find it under Menu or More > Downloads. If there is no download icon, that movie is not available for offline download through the feature.
What you need to download a Paramount+ movie
- A plan that includes downloads. Paramount+ plan names and features vary by country. Check the plan offered in your market and the features listed for your account. In the markets covered by Paramount+’s plan guide, Standard and Premium include downloads; Basic (Mobile Only) includes them in Mexico and Brazil, while Basic (with ads) does not in the listed markets. Paramount+ also says Basic (with Ads) in Canada and Australia does not support downloads. These examples are not a universal plan rule; confirm your country’s current offering in Paramount+’s subscription-plan guide.
- A supported mobile device. Paramount+ lists iPhone and iPad devices running iOS 16 or later, and Android phones and tablets running Android 7 or later. The download instructions are for the Paramount+ mobile app.
- A movie that is available to download. Only selected titles support downloads. The icon on the movie’s page is the practical check for that individual title.
How to download a movie in the Paramount+ app
- Check your plan. Confirm that your subscription includes downloads in your country. Paramount+’s support page, updated September 24, 2026, lists market-specific plan features; see the plan guide.
- Open the Paramount+ app on a supported iPhone, iPad, or Android phone or tablet, and sign in to your account.
- Open the movie’s page. Look beside the movie description for the download icon. If it is missing, the title is not offered for download through this feature.
- Tap the download icon and check the progress indicator. Keep the app open until the download completes; Paramount+ says leaving the app pauses the download.
- Open the download library. In the app menu, choose Downloads. Depending on the app navigation, this may appear under Menu or More. Tap the movie to watch it offline.
How long downloads last and how many you can keep
Paramount+ Support’s download instructions, dated October 13, 2025, set these limits:

| 25 downloads | The library can hold up to 25 downloads at one time. To add another after reaching the limit, delete an existing download. |
| 30 days | A downloaded movie remains available for 30 days from its download date. The expiry period is shown below the title in the app. |
| 48 hours | Once you start playing a download, you have 48 hours to finish watching it. |
Paramount+ says an unfinished expired item can be downloaded again. Multiple videos can download at the same time, but mobile-data charges or plan limits may apply. To remove an item, go to More > Downloads and delete it. The app also offers Auto-delete upon completion, which removes an item after it has been watched. The movie has no download icon
Downloads are limited to selected movies and shows. If the icon does not appear on the movie page, the title is not available for download through this feature. A qualifying subscription alone does not make every title downloadable.

Your plan may not include downloads
Plan features depend on country and plan. Check the plan guide for your market rather than relying on a plan name used elsewhere; if your plan does not include downloads, the feature is unavailable on that plan.
The app was closed before the download finished
Paramount+ says leaving the app pauses an in-progress download. Reopen it and let the download complete before leaving the app.

You reached the library limit
If you already have 25 downloads, remove one from the Downloads library before starting another.

You are travelling or your access changed
Downloads may expire when you travel to another region or country. Paramount+’s U.S. Terms of Use describe downloads as temporary and say access may depend on territory, subscription status, content rights, and other limits. A download may therefore become unavailable if you leave your subscriber territory, cancel your subscription, or Paramount+ no longer has the rights to the content. The terms also allow limits on devices, redownloads, when viewing must start or finish, and the total time a download remains accessible.

Can you download Paramount+ movies on a computer or TV?
The download workflow described by Paramount+ is for its mobile app on supported iPhone, iPad, and Android devices. The cited support instructions do not establish downloads on computers or TVs. For offline viewing, use a supported phone or tablet and check that the movie has a download icon.
