A Vizio 43-inch TV does not have one standard weight: the figure depends on the exact model and whether the stand is attached. For example, the D43fM-K04 is listed at 15.06 lb with its stand and 14.88 lb without it. Check the model number on your television or its paperwork, then use that model’s specification rather than estimating from screen size.
Vizio 43-inch TV weights vary by model
The 43-inch designation describes screen size, not a single Vizio model. Official specifications for several identified models show different weights. The table separates stand-on and stand-off figures; “not stated” means the cited official product page did not provide that value in the available specification.

These are examples, not a complete catalog or a valid basis for an average weight for every Vizio 43-inch TV. Older manuals are useful for identifying their specific models, but their figures should not be substituted for the specifications of a different television.

How to find the weight for your exact TV
- Find the full model number on the label on the back of the television, or check the original documentation or product record.
- Search Vizio’s official product information or the manual for that exact model number.
- Look for separate entries for weight with stand and weight without stand. Match the figure to how you will use or install the set.
If you cannot confirm the model number or find a matching specification, do not assume that another 43-inch Vizio has the same weight. The models in the table differ substantially, including examples from both current product pages and older manuals.

Using the weight for lifting and wall mounting
For moving or placing the television
Use the model’s listed weight for the configuration you are handling, and keep the stand attached or removed as appropriate to that figure. A television’s weight is not the same as its packaged or shipping weight. The cited specifications do not establish a universal package-weight figure; use a package value only when it is listed separately for your exact model.
For choosing a wall mount
Weight alone does not determine whether a mount fits. Check the exact TV’s VESA hole pattern and screw size, then verify the mount’s physical fit and rated load. For example, VIZIO lists a 200 mm × 100 mm VESA pattern and M4 screws for the D43fM-K04, while the E43-F1 manual specifies 200 mm × 200 mm and M6 screws. Those differences mean compatibility should not be inferred from screen size or brand alone.
