In the listed specifications, the OnePlus Nord CE 6 5G leads on display size, resolution and refresh rate, chipset tier, battery capacity and charging wattage. The realme 16 5G is listed as lighter and has a higher-resolution front camera; it may also cost less, but comparison-site price snapshots disagree. The right choice depends on the live price for the same storage configuration and which trade-offs matter to you.
realme 16 vs OnePlus Nord CE 6 5G: specs comparison
The figures below are product listings, not results from independent hands-on testing. Both models are listed with an 8GB RAM, 128GB storage base configuration on the 91mobiles comparison page. Other listed configurations vary by model, so confirm the exact SKU before comparing prices.

How the screen, chipset and battery differences affect the choice
Screen: Nord is larger and sharper on paper
The Nord CE 6 5G has the larger listed display, higher resolution and 144Hz refresh rate, compared with the realme 16’s 120Hz panel. That gives the OnePlus the stronger specification sheet for users who prioritize screen area and smooth scrolling. The larger size may be less comfortable if you prefer a compact phone, and refresh-rate preference is personal.

Chipset: a paper advantage, not a speed guarantee
The listings put the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 in the Nord CE 6 5G and the Dimensity 6400 Turbo in the realme 16. This supports a higher-tier chipset comparison in OnePlus’s favor, but chip names alone do not establish how quickly either phone handles games, apps or sustained workloads. 91mobiles displays Geekbench multi-core results of 3,127 for the Nord and 2,068 for realme, but the surfaced comparison does not provide methodology or controlled test conditions; treat those figures as unverified listing data rather than a dependable prediction of everyday speed.
Battery and charging: capacity is not tested endurance
The Nord’s listed battery is 8,000mAh with 80W charging, versus 7,000mAh and 60W for the realme 16. Those numbers favor OnePlus for battery capacity and charging wattage, but they do not prove longer real-world battery life or a particular charging time. Actual endurance depends on use and device conditions.

Camera numbers and software listings need context
Front and rear cameras
The realme 16 lists a 50MP front camera, compared with 32MP on the Nord. That is a pixel-count advantage, not proof of better selfies: sensor characteristics, autofocus and image processing also affect results. Both phones list a 50MP main rear camera and a 2MP secondary camera, though the realme listing calls its secondary camera mono. The available specifications do not establish which phone takes better photos.

The comparison listings show Android 16 with realme UI 7.0 on the realme 16 and Android 16 with OxygenOS 16 on the Nord CE 6 5G. realme’s India specifications page also lists UI 7.0. Confirm the software version on the specific regional model you buy. Update-duration claims should not be treated as guarantees without an official policy for these exact models.

What is the price difference?
Two comparison-site snapshots show different gaps, so neither should be treated as a definitive current price. 91mobiles displayed ₹36,490 for the realme 16 and ₹37,999 for the Nord CE 6 5G, a ₹1,509 difference. Smartprix, whose product details were last updated September 28, 2026, displayed ₹35,499 and ₹37,999 respectively, a ₹2,500 difference. These are snapshots, not a verified live offer.
Configuration matters: the 91mobiles base comparison uses 8GB/128GB for both. Gadgets 360 lists the Nord with 8GB/128GB and 8GB/256GB options, and the realme with 8GB/128GB and 12GB/256GB options. Compare the same RAM and storage tier, then check the seller, offer conditions and warranty on the listing before deciding which is cheaper.
