The OnePlus Nord CE5 is the stronger pick on the listed performance benchmarks and has an AMOLED display with 80W charging. The Moto g max 5G is listed with a higher-resolution front camera and a longer PCMark battery-test result. The better buy depends on which differences matter to you—and on your local price: the available prices come from different markets and sellers, so they do not establish a like-for-like price gap.

Treat the listed specifications as a starting point and check the local product listing before buying. OnePlus Nord CE5 product information.
Price difference: compare like with like
There is no reliable single price gap to quote across the available listings. OnePlus lists an India starting price of ₹24,999, while the comparison page displays ₹36,944 for the Nord CE5 at Flipkart and ₹27,999 for the Moto g max 5G at Amazon. Those marketplace figures are from different sellers and may change; they are not a controlled, same-seller comparison. OnePlus’s official India price is not directly interchangeable with either marketplace offer.
For the UK, TechRadar reports list prices of £299 for the 128GB Nord CE5 and £349 for the 256GB version. Those UK storage-specific prices should not be treated as India prices or compared with the cited Amazon and Flipkart offers. Before deciding, check the price for the same market, storage configuration, seller, and purchase date.

Display: AMOLED versus LCD
The clearest everyday distinction is display technology. The Nord CE5 is listed with a 6.77-inch AMOLED panel, while the Moto g max 5G has a 6.72-inch LCD. Both are listed at FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The Nord’s panel is the more compelling choice if you prioritize AMOLED; the shared refresh rate alone does not make the displays equivalent.
Performance: the listed tests favor the Nord CE5
91mobiles reports Geekbench multi-core scores of 4,092 for the Nord CE5 and 2,600 for the Moto g max 5G, plus AnTuTu scores of 1,402,278 and 807,683, respectively. These are results reported by that comparison page, not guarantees of how either phone will perform in every app, game, or workload. Real-world experience can also depend on software, thermal behavior, and the task being run.

The listed memory configurations differ too: 8GB for the Nord CE5 and 6GB for the Moto. The figures do not, by themselves, establish how much storage each configuration includes or whether other configurations are sold in your market.
Cameras: a higher selfie-camera resolution is not a quality verdict
The comparison page lists a 16MP front camera for the Nord CE5 and a 32MP front camera for the Moto g max 5G. The higher number is a resolution difference, not proof that the Moto takes better selfies; image quality also depends on factors not established by these specifications.

For rear cameras, OnePlus specifies a 50MP main camera with optical image stabilization on the Nord CE5, and the comparison page lists an 8MP ultrawide. For the Moto, 91mobiles lists a 50MP Sony LYTIA 600 main camera and an 8MP ultrawide. The cited sources do not provide a directly comparable camera test, so these figures alone cannot determine which phone produces better photos.
Battery and charging: capacity and test time point in different directions
OnePlus lists a 7,100mAh battery and 80W SUPERVOOC charging for the Nord CE5. The comparison page lists a 7,000mAh battery and 30W Turbo Charging for the Moto g max 5G. On the stated capacities and charging ratings, the Nord has the larger battery and faster rated charging.

Yet the PCMark battery results reported by 91mobiles favor the Moto: 18 hours 15 minutes, compared with 16 hours 30 minutes for the Nord CE5. That is a result from a particular test, not a prediction that every owner will get longer battery life from the Moto. Test duration and battery capacity measure different things, and everyday endurance varies with use.
