To unlock Reaping Blades in Project Slayers 2, reach level 100 and complete Harvester of Souls Zurinyz’s The Reaper’s Trial quest in Iceveil. The reported objectives are catching 20 Common Fish, collecting one Reaper Scroll, dealing 12,000 damage with fist M1 light attacks, and defeating Reaper Trainee Kuzan. A secondary walkthrough reports the reward as the Reaping Blades fighting style, 3,800 EXP, and 1,620 Wen.
What you need to complete the trial
The walkthrough lists these objectives for The Reaper’s Trial:
- Reach level 100.
- Catch 20 Common Fish.
- Collect one Reaper Scroll.
- Deal 12,000 cumulative damage using fist M1 light attacks.
- Defeat Reaper Trainee Kuzan.
A second secondary guide corroborates the level gate, fish, fist-damage requirement, and trainee fight. The exact quest details are not confirmed by a first-party developer source, so check the live quest UI if its objectives differ.
How to complete The Reaper’s Trial
1. Find Zurinyz in Iceveil
Head to the snowy Iceveil region and locate Harvester of Souls Zurinyz. The walkthrough describes traveling from the portal through a tunnel toward a settlement; Zurinyz is by a house beyond the campfire. Speak to the quest giver to start the trial.

2. Catch 20 Common Fish
The walkthrough points to Bamboo Grove Sanctuary as the fishing location. You need an in-game fishing rod. If you do not have one, the guide describes completing a fishing-permit errand and buying a rod at Mistfall Harbor. Catch fish until the quest objective reaches 20 Common Fish.
3. Collect the Reaper Scroll
Search near the lake and small wooden bridge along the road to Bamboo Grove Sanctuary. The trial calls for one Reaper Scroll.

4. Deal 12,000 damage with fist M1 attacks
Equip fists and land light attacks using M1 until the cumulative damage objective is complete. The walkthrough says the damage adds up across fights, so it does not need to come from a single enemy. It names bosses and bears as possible targets; use whichever you can fight reliably while tracking the quest progress.

5. Defeat Reaper Trainee Kuzan
Return to the snowy settlement and follow the cave approach described by the walkthrough to find Reaper Trainee Kuzan. Defeating the trainee completes the final reported objective.

Reported rewards and what the style is
The walkthrough reports that completing the trial grants the Reaping Blades fighting style, 3,800 EXP, and 1,620 Wen. Those exact reward amounts come from one secondary guide; the second guide corroborates the core prerequisites but does not supply the reward figures.
Reaping Blades is a fighting style, not the separate Reaper Blood Demon Art. The guides also say a character can hold only one fighting style at a time, so treat this unlock as a loadout or mastery choice rather than a style you can freely stack with another.
Optional preparation is not part of the quest
The walkthrough mentions an Emberheart Lantern as optional preparation for the cold route. It also describes a 45,000 Wen fast-travel unlock at Frost Veil Shrine; that fast travel is separate from the listed trial requirements. Neither is listed as a condition for earning Reaping Blades.
