Testing Facility Broadway is reached through an underground storm drain in the West Incursion Zone, south of the House of Mirrors and north of the West Supply Route Station. Inside, turn the shifting objects into Thirst Station soda dispensers, place one in every yellow floor marker, then operate the shutdown control. Walkthroughs disagree on whether there are four or five markers, so use the facility’s own shutdown instructions and visible floor markings rather than relying on a fixed count.
Where to find Testing Facility Broadway
Look for the storm-drain entrance in the West Incursion Zone, south of the House of Mirrors and north of the West Supply Route Station. The facility is underground: the surface map marker indicates the area, not a street-level doorway. Broadway walkthroughs describe the route through the drain (AllThingsHow, September 26, 2026; NerdsChalk, September 28, 2026).
How to solve the soda-dispenser puzzle
- Enter the testing room and read the instructions. Find the control terminal and review its “Shutdown Instructions” before moving objects.
- Transform each shifting object. Pick one up and carry it across the yellow floor lines until it changes into a THIRST STATION soda dispenser. Confirm the dispenser form before placing it; the walkthrough warns that the object must be in its required default state.
- Fill every yellow marked area. Put a dispenser in each square. Two Broadway walkthroughs report four squares, while another page reports five (AllThingsHow, September 26, 2026; NerdsChalk, September 28, 2026; AllThingsHow, September 28, 2026). Because those guides conflict, check the room and terminal instructions rather than stopping after a presumed number.
- Activate the shutdown control. Return to the terminal and use the lever when the puzzle is ready. A walkthrough reports that the quest log updates after a successful shutdown.
- Explore the newly opened ventilation route. Follow it into the hidden research room and collect its pickups.
What rewards are reported
Walkthrough coverage reports that shutting down Broadway grants one Undefined Reading. The hidden research room is also described as containing a green Large Resource Crate with a Power Upgrade Point (1/3) and the desk collectible “Notes From Dr. Janson.” These reward details come from walkthroughs rather than an official Remedy guide (AllThingsHow; NerdsChalk).

Keep Broadway separate from the Urban Fresh Mart puzzle
The Broadway task is the Testing Facility dispenser puzzle tied to the Unsupervised Science quest. It is not the separate Urban Fresh Mart soda-machine code puzzle; the two activities have different locations and objectives.
