A reliable current price difference cannot be established from the available listings, so check the same RAM and storage configuration before deciding.

Which phone has the better display and battery specifications?
On paper, the Nord 6 offers the sharper display resolution and higher maximum refresh rate: 1.5K at up to 165 Hz, compared with FHD+ at up to 144 Hz on the realme. Both use AMOLED panels of roughly the same stated size.
The Nord 6 also lists a larger typical battery capacity, 9000 mAh versus 7000 mAh. Both manufacturers specify 80 W charging. Capacity alone does not establish which phone lasts longer in actual use; that would require comparable independent battery testing.

- 162.5 x 77.5 x 8.5 mm (6.40 x 3.05 x 0.33 in)
Which phone has the more versatile camera hardware?
The realme lists more rear-camera hardware: a 200 MP main camera, a 50 MP telephoto camera, and an 8 MP ultra-wide. The Nord 6 lists a 50 MP main camera with dual-axis optical image stabilization (OIS) and an 8 MP ultra-wide, but no dedicated telephoto camera in the cited specifications.
For subjects that benefit from a separate telephoto lens, the realme has the more complete listed setup. The realme also lists a 50 MP front camera, compared with the Nord 6’s 32 MP multi-focus sensor. These resolutions do not, by themselves, prove which phone takes better photos; image quality depends on more than megapixel count.

How do the performance and storage options compare?
The manufacturers identify different platforms: a Snapdragon 8-series platform for the Nord 6 and a Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 for the realme. Those labels show different chipset positioning, but they are not a substitute for a direct benchmark or a test of performance in the apps and games you use.
Both phones list LPDDR5X memory. OnePlus specifies UFS 4.1 storage, while realme specifies UFS 3.1. For a like-for-like price check, compare the shared 8/256 GB or 12/256 GB configuration. The realme also offers an 8/128 GB option, for which there is no matching Nord 6 configuration in the cited listings.

What is the price difference in India?
A trustworthy current price difference for matching configurations is not established by the available price evidence. A 91mobiles comparison crawl showed inconsistent price snapshots, including different realme listings, so those figures should not be treated as current quotes.
OnePlus’s official terms listed promotional prices of ₹39,949 for the Nord 6 8/256 GB and ₹45,049 for the 12/256 GB during specified September 2026 promotion periods. Those dated offer prices have expired; they are not present-day market prices or a valid current comparison with realme.

To calculate a useful difference, check both phones on the same date and compare matching RAM and storage tiers. Confirm the retailer, seller, stock status, and any card or exchange conditions. If you find only one eligible listing for either model, treat it as a single-model quote rather than an apples-to-apples comparison.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches2Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems3Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteWhich phone should you choose?
- Choose the Nord 6 for the listed hardware if a higher-resolution, faster-refresh display and larger stated battery capacity matter most to you.
- Choose the realme 16 Pro+ for the listed camera setup if you want a dedicated telephoto camera alongside the main and ultra-wide cameras.
- Check the exact storage tier and current offer if price is decisive; the available evidence does not support a reliable current price winner.
- Verify software-support expectations if update longevity is a deciding factor: OnePlus states its Nord 6 commitment, while an equivalent realme commitment was not established in the cited specifications.
OnePlus dates its India launch context to 7 April 2026. Its launch material also states the update commitment described above. Manufacturer specifications and launch claims should be read as vendor statements, not independent comparative test results.
