On a computer, open the presentation in Google Slides and choose File > Download > Microsoft PowerPoint (.pptx). The important caveat: Google’s documentation does not confirm that audio embedded in Slides survives this specific conversion intact. Open the downloaded file in the PowerPoint app you plan to use and test every audio cue before sharing or presenting.
Download the presentation as a PowerPoint file

In Google Slides, open the presentation and play its audio to confirm the source deck works. Google’s instructions cover adding MP3 and WAV files stored in Drive: Add or delete audio in Google Slides.

In a computer browser, select File > Download > Microsoft PowerPoint (.pptx). Google describes downloading through File > Download and selecting a file type in its Docs Editors file help.

Open the downloaded .pptx in the PowerPoint app you intend to use. Check each slide with audio, including playback and any cues that depend on timing or slide transitions.

Will the audio transfer to PowerPoint?
It is not confirmed by the official documentation cited here. Google says embedded audio and video are included in Google Slides data exports, but that general statement does not specifically establish that audio is retained in a Slides-to-PPTX download: Download a file. Treat the downloaded presentation as unverified until you test it in PowerPoint; audio may be missing or behave differently.
Restore audio that is missing or does not play correctly
If a cue is absent or behaves differently, insert the original audio file into the relevant slide in PowerPoint, then test it again. Microsoft lists MP3 and WAV as supported audio formats and recommends M4A encoded with AAC. See Microsoft’s guidance for adding audio to PowerPoint.

Exporting from an iPhone, iPad, or Android device
Google’s help pages say the Slides apps for iPhone and iPad, and for Android, can export presentations as PPTX. Those instructions do not establish whether embedded audio survives the mobile conversion, so open the exported file in the target PowerPoint app and check the audio there: Use Google Slides on an iPhone or iPad and Use Google Slides on an Android device.
If collaborators cannot hear audio in Google Slides
Before converting, check that collaborators have access to the presentation and its media. Google says its access checker can suggest permission updates for shared presentations containing audio or video; see Google’s audio help.

If you reinserted audio, confirm the recipient or presentation device can access the media as needed.
