The OnePlus 13 has the stronger documented chipset and offers a sharper display, while the Motorola Edge 70 Pro Plus 5G lists a higher refresh rate, larger battery and lower current India storefront price. The better buy depends on the exact RAM and storage configuration, seller and checkout price: the available price figures mix official MRPs with promotional offers and are not directly comparable.
This comparison reflects India listings checked on 7 October 2026. OnePlus publishes full India specifications for the OnePlus 13; the detailed Motorola specifications below are attributed to 91mobiles, while Motorola India confirms the phone listing and displayed price.
India price difference: check the configuration before comparing
OnePlus India lists three OnePlus 13 configurations at MRP. Motorola India currently displays one price for the Edge 70 Pro Plus, while a separate comparison page shows marketplace offers. These are different types of price snapshots, so subtracting them would not give a reliable like-for-like saving.

Performance and storage: OnePlus documents the higher tier
The OnePlus 13’s Snapdragon 8 Elite, Adreno 830 graphics and up-to-24GB/1TB configuration give it the stronger documented platform and configuration ceiling in this pairing. The Motorola listing specifies a Dimensity 8500 Extreme with 12GB/256GB. That is a difference in published hardware, not proof of a particular gap in everyday speed, gaming frame rates or long-term performance: comparable independent test results are not established by these specifications.
For buyers who keep large local libraries, the OnePlus range also offers more storage choices. The Motorola configuration reported by 91mobiles is 256GB; check the exact model listing before purchase rather than assuming additional variants.

Display: resolution versus refresh rate
OnePlus specifies a 3168 × 1440 QHD+ panel with dynamic 1–120Hz refresh. Motorola’s 91mobiles listing gives 1272 × 2772 resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. In practical terms, the OnePlus specification favors pixel density and adaptive refresh flexibility, while Motorola’s listed maximum refresh rate is higher. Neither number alone establishes which screen looks better: brightness, calibration, viewing conditions and supported content also matter.
Cameras: similar headline megapixels, different zoom claims
Both phones are presented as having three 50MP rear cameras, but megapixel counts do not establish image quality. OnePlus officially lists a 3× optical telephoto camera with OIS; 91mobiles reports up to 3.5× optical telephoto zoom for Motorola, along with an ultrawide/macro camera. The listed front cameras are 32MP for OnePlus and 50MP for Motorola.
Rank #2
Those specifications describe camera hardware and zoom claims, not the quality of photos or video. Sensor behavior, processing and performance in varied light require sample-based comparisons; the cited material does not establish a camera winner.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone.Battery and charging: capacity is not a runtime test
91mobiles lists a 6,500mAh battery for Motorola, 500mAh more than OnePlus’s official 6,000mAh figure. OnePlus specifies faster wired charging at 100W and 50W wireless charging; 91mobiles lists Motorola’s wired charging at 90W and says wireless charging is supported without giving a wattage. Battery capacity alone does not predict how long a phone lasts: screen use, network conditions, software and other factors affect endurance.

What IP68/IP69 means for the OnePlus 13
OnePlus lists IP68/IP69 resistance in its specification details. Treat those ratings as product specifications, not a promise that every liquid exposure or accident is covered by warranty. Review OnePlus’s current warranty and care documentation for the applicable limits, and do not deliberately expose the phone to water or assume liquid damage is covered.
Which phone makes more sense?
- Choose the OnePlus 13 if: you want the more powerful documented chipset tier, a QHD+ display with dynamic 1–120Hz, official options up to 24GB RAM and 1TB storage, or specified 100W wired and 50W wireless charging.
- Consider the Motorola Edge 70 Pro Plus 5G if: the exact configuration you want is available at its lower live price, and you value the listed 144Hz display, larger battery capacity or 3.5× optical telephoto claim.
- Compare checkout totals, not headline discounts: confirm RAM and storage, seller, warranty and current terms. The official OnePlus MRPs, Motorola storefront display and marketplace offers are not equivalent price bases.
There is no single specification-based winner for every buyer. OnePlus has the stronger documented chipset and higher-end memory/storage options; Motorola’s listed strengths include a larger battery and higher refresh-rate ceiling. A value verdict depends on the exact variant and price available when you buy.
