To stack a front-load Electrolux washer and dryer, you need a stacking kit approved for both appliance models. Find each model number, verify the kit and follow the pair’s installation instructions before stacking; Electrolux’s general guidance does not name one kit that fits every model.
1. Check the washer and dryer model numbers
Before buying a kit, identify the exact models of both appliances. Electrolux says the front-load washer’s model number is on the door trim; the dryer’s is at the top of the door opening. See Electrolux’s model and serial number guide.
Use both model numbers to confirm compatibility through Electrolux’s model-specific parts information or installation documentation. Electrolux’s general delivery guidance confirms that a stacking kit is required, but it does not give a universal part number or compatibility table. Measure for the appliances and vent
Check the exact dryer installation guide for the required space and clearances, and leave room for the dryer vent. The general Electrolux delivery guide does not establish one clearance that applies to every model.

Check the floor
Electrolux advises installing on a level, solid floor and cautions against carpet, loose plywood, or other unstable surfaces. Its laundry noise guidance also advises checking that a stacking kit is properly installed, the appliance feet are fully screwed in, and the brackets are tight. 3. Verify the washer’s water supply
Before installation, check the washer instructions and supply setup. Electrolux’s general water-supply guidance calls for hot and cold faucets within hose reach, 3/4-inch threaded hose connections, water pressure from 30 to 120 psi, and no more than a 10 psi difference between hot- and cold-water pressure. 4. Install the model-approved kit using its instructions
Once you have confirmed the kit for the exact washer-and-dryer pair and checked the installation space, use the kit’s instructions together with the appliance manuals. The fit and installation details are model-specific, so do not substitute instructions for another pair or improvise a mounting method.
After installation, check that the kit is properly fitted, brackets are tight, and appliance feet are fully screwed in. If any part does not match the kit instructions or the appliances do not sit securely, stop and resolve the mismatch before using the stacked setup.

A pedestal drawer is a separate setup: Electrolux describes it as storage and a way to raise a washer or dryer. It is not a substitute for the stacking kit required to stack a front-load washer and dryer. Electrolux’s delivery guidance says its installation teams cannot place a newly purchased appliance on an existing pedestal or add a new pedestal under an existing appliance; it says they can install a pedestal only with a matching washer or dryer.
