WordPress.org’s Showcase currently features Taylor Swift, Rafael Nadal, and Usain Bolt, making them the strongest officially corroborated celebrity examples in this topic. A 2026 Colorlib roundup identifies 25 celebrity websites as WordPress-built, but that list is not a technical audit of each live site. Treat the broader set as design inspiration—not as 25 independently verified, current WordPress installations.

Which celebrity websites have official WordPress corroboration?

WordPress.org describes its Showcase as a collection of websites built with WordPress. Its Showcase includes Taylor Swift, and the directory’s People tag lists Taylor Swift, Rafael Nadal, and Usain Bolt. These entries are useful evidence of Showcase inclusion, but they do not establish the platform behind every similarly named web property or every past version of a site.

The Showcase displayed 156 sites when accessed on October 7, 2026. That is a dated directory count, not a statistic about WordPress adoption by celebrities or websites generally.

What does the 25-site list establish?

Colorlib published “25 Celebrity Websites Built Using WordPress 2026” on September 25, 2026. It attributes Taylor Swift’s site to WordPress and the Kadence theme, describing a visual identity built around prominent imagery and typography, with navigation to music, video, tour dates, and merchandise. Those are Colorlib’s attributions and design observations; they should not be mistaken for an independent current inspection.

A separate 2024 roundup from WP-Content discusses celebrity examples including Usain Bolt, Rafael Nadal, Katy Perry, Snoop Dogg, and the Rolling Stones. Together, these lists offer examples to study, but neither source verifies that every featured site still uses WordPress today. No directly relevant adoption percentage is established by the cited sources.

What design choices are useful to study?

The value of a celebrity-site roundup is less about copying a homepage than understanding how it serves a public figure’s audience. Across the cited descriptions, the recurring design choices can be compared by purpose:

Design question What to look for Why it matters
What is the site’s primary job? Updates, tour promotion, press or biography, books, merchandise, or a broader personal brand The main purpose should shape the homepage and the most prominent action.
How is information organized? A compact landing page, a menu-led structure, or an image grid linking to distinct topics Visitors need to find the information they came for without having to decipher the layout.
How does it use media? Photography, video, music embeds, or galleries Media can establish identity and provide a direct way to explore an artist’s work.
What should visitors do next? View tour information, visit a store, explore books, or sign up for updates A clear next step connects the site’s content to its intended audience action.
How will the site be maintained? Editorial sections a team can update, alongside any custom-developed elements A striking design is more useful when routine updates do not depend on rebuilding pages.

These are practical ways to assess the examples, not measured rankings or performance results. The cited descriptions include image-led homepages, media, news and tour sections, store links, and menu-based navigation; the best arrangement depends on what the site needs to do.

Can a WordPress theme reproduce a celebrity site?

A theme is a starting point for presentation, not a complete recipe for another site’s design or functionality. WordPress documentation defines a theme as “a collection of files that work together to produce a graphical interface with an underlying unifying design for a website.” The official Work with themes guide explains how to find, preview, install, and customize themes.

Colorlib names Kadence in its Taylor Swift description, but that secondary attribution does not establish that installing Kadence would reproduce the site. A public theme may be combined with custom development, content, media, and design decisions that are specific to the site.

What would you need to launch a similar WordPress site?

WordPress requires a web server. As of October 7, 2026, WordPress.org’s requirements page recommends PHP 8.3 or greater, MariaDB 10.11 or greater or MySQL 8.0 or greater, and HTTPS. These are the published recommendations at that date; check the WordPress requirements page again when choosing a hosting environment because software requirements can change.

For setup and upkeep, WordPress.org’s documentation index links to guidance on getting started, installation, maintenance, security, publishing, media, and customization. Start with those official guides, then choose a theme and site structure around the audience actions you want to support.
