The OnePlus Nord 6 is the paper-spec choice for a larger screen and a higher-tier listed processor; the realme 16 5G stands out for its higher-resolution selfie camera and officially specified 60 W charging. OnePlus advertises a larger battery capacity, but neither figure establishes real-world battery life. Choose by the features that matter to you, then compare live prices for the same RAM and storage configuration.
At a glance: the main differences
| Specification | OnePlus Nord 6 | realme 16 5G |
|---|---|---|
| Processor | Snapdragon 8s Gen 4, listed by 91mobiles | MediaTek Dimensity 6400 Turbo, specified by realme |

| Rear cameras | 50 MP primary, listed by 91mobiles | 50 MP main and 2 MP monochrome, per realme |

| Software | Android 16 / OxygenOS, listed by 91mobiles | realme UI 7.0, per realme |
These are specification-sheet comparisons, not independent tests. Processor names suggest different product tiers, but the cited information does not establish benchmark performance. Likewise, megapixel counts do not show which phone takes better photos, and battery capacity alone cannot predict runtime.

Which phone has the better display and processor?
Choose Nord 6 for the larger listed display and processor
The Nord 6 is listed with a 6.78-inch AMOLED screen and Snapdragon 8s Gen 4. That makes it the more natural fit if your priorities are screen size or the listed processor class. The available figures do not provide a like-for-like display test or benchmark, so they cannot establish which phone is faster in a particular app or has the better-looking panel.
Choose realme 16 for specified panel details
realme specifies a 6.57-inch flexible AMOLED panel with 2372 × 1080 resolution and refresh rates up to 120 Hz. Its screen is smaller than the Nord 6’s listing, but realme’s published specification gives more detail about resolution and maximum refresh rate. The cited comparison does not provide equivalent confirmed resolution and refresh-rate figures for Nord 6.

How do the cameras compare?
realme officially lists a 50 MP, f/2.4 front camera; 91mobiles lists the Nord 6’s front camera at 32 MP. This is a resolution distinction, not evidence that realme produces better selfies. Image quality also depends on factors such as processing, optics, and lighting, for which this comparison provides no test results.
For rear cameras, 91mobiles lists a 50 MP primary camera on Nord 6. realme specifies a 50 MP main camera plus a 2 MP monochrome camera. The extra listed rear camera does not by itself establish an advantage in photo quality or useful shooting modes.
What do the battery figures mean?
OnePlus advertises a 9000 mAh battery for the Nord 6. realme specifies 7000 mAh typical capacity and 6830 mAh rated capacity for the realme 16, plus 60 W fast charging. The typical and rated realme figures are different measures and should not be treated as interchangeable.

1Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors2Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute3Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsThese are manufacturer specifications or claims, not independent endurance or charging tests. The figures do not establish which phone lasts longer in everyday use, and the cited Nord 6 information does not state a charging speed. If charging rate is a deciding factor, the documented figure here is realme’s 60 W specification.

Configurations and price: compare like with like
The phones share 256 GB options at 8 GB and 12 GB RAM, which are the clearest configurations for an apples-to-apples comparison. realme also lists an 8 GB/128 GB version; the cited Nord 6 comparison data does not list that storage tier.
| Price source and configuration | OnePlus Nord 6 | realme 16 5G |
|---|---|---|
| OnePlus India product listing snapshot | ₹42,999 for 8 GB/256 GB | Price not established on the cited official realme pages |
| 91mobiles comparison-page snapshot | ₹46,999; configuration and transaction context are not established here | ₹36,999; configuration and transaction context are not established here |
The figures come from different contexts and do not establish a reliable price difference: the OnePlus India listing showed ₹42,999 for Nord 6 8 GB/256 GB, while 91mobiles showed separate prices for both phones. Those prices may differ by seller, offer, configuration, or time. Check the current listing for the same RAM and storage tier before deciding which is better value.
Software and support
91mobiles lists Android 16 / OxygenOS for Nord 6, while realme specifies realme UI 7.0 for the realme 16. The cited information does not establish comparable update-support periods, so it is not enough to make a software longevity promise or declare a winner on updates.

Which one should you buy?
- Pick the OnePlus Nord 6 if you prefer its larger listed 6.78-inch display or want the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 processor named in the comparison.
- Pick the realme 16 5G if the 50 MP selfie-camera resolution, specified 60 W charging, or its published 120 Hz display details matter more to you.
- Compare prices carefully if value is the deciding factor: use the same RAM/storage configuration, seller, and purchase date. The available price snapshots are not a like-for-like checkout comparison.
