The POCO X8 Pro lists a newer, higher-tier processor, a larger typical battery, faster wired charging and more 512GB storage options. The Motorola Edge 60 Pro counters with a dedicated 3x optical telephoto camera, wireless charging and a stated software-update commitment. There is no reliable same-market price comparison in the available listings, so the better choice depends on which features matter to you and what matching models cost where you live.

Which phone has the faster processor and more storage?
POCO lists the Dimensity 8500-Ultra, while Motorola lists the Dimensity 8350 Extreme. That makes the POCO’s processor the higher-tier option on the published specifications, but the component names alone do not establish how much faster the phone will feel in everyday use. POCO reports an AnTuTu V11.0.8 score of 2,283,558 from its Internal Labs testing at around 25°C, and says results can vary with test conditions. It is a manufacturer-reported result, not an independent head-to-head benchmark against the Motorola.

Motorola’s cited specifications list 256GB storage with either 8GB or 12GB RAM. POCO offers 256GB with 8GB RAM, plus 512GB options with either 8GB or 12GB RAM. If you expect to keep many large games, videos or offline files, the POCO gives you more listed capacity choices.

How do the displays differ?
Both phones have OLED-class displays with up to a 120Hz refresh rate and roughly 1.5K resolution. Motorola’s is larger at 6.7 inches and uses a quad-curved design; POCO’s is 6.59 inches, uses a conventional AMOLED description on its specification page and supports Dolby Vision. Pick based on preferred screen size and shape, rather than assuming one will look brighter or better from headline figures that are not directly comparable.
Which camera setup is more versatile?
The Edge 60 Pro has a dedicated 10MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom and optical image stabilization, alongside its 50MP main and 50MP ultra-wide cameras. The X8 Pro lists a 50MP stabilized main camera and an 8MP ultra-wide camera, with no dedicated telephoto listed. That makes Motorola’s rear-camera hardware more flexible for photographing distant subjects without relying only on digital zoom.

Random freezes, missing sound and display glitches usually trace back to one bad driver. Find and replace yours safely.Free scan · under a minuteThat lens difference is not a verdict on image quality. The listed specifications do not establish which phone takes better photos in particular conditions. Motorola also lists a 50MP front camera, compared with POCO’s 20MP front camera; megapixel counts alone do not determine selfie quality.
Battery capacity and charging: what the figures tell you
POCO lists a 6,500mAh typical battery and 100W wired charging. Motorola lists a 6,000mAh battery, 90W wired charging and 15W wireless charging. POCO also supports wired reverse charging up to 27W. On paper, POCO offers more battery capacity and higher wired charging power, while Motorola is the one with wireless charging.
Those capacities and charging rates do not establish real-world battery life or the time required to reach a full charge. Use them to compare supported features, not as a guarantee of endurance or charging speed in your own conditions.

Software support and durability
Update commitment
Motorola lists Android 16, three OS upgrades and four years of security maintenance releases for the Edge 60 Pro. The cited POCO specification page does not state a support duration. That means Motorola provides a published commitment in the cited material; it does not establish that POCO offers no updates or support.
Water resistance and build claims
Motorola lists IP68/IP69 protection and MIL-STD-810H certification. POCO lists IP68 and specifies that its rating is based on laboratory conditions: static fresh water up to 1.5 metres for up to 30 minutes. POCO cautions that its water-resistance features do not correspond to normal consumer-use conditions and are not assured outside the stated test conditions. Neither rating makes a phone immune to damage in every exposure, so treat water protection as a limited specification rather than permission to take either phone swimming.
POCO’s official specifications and IP68 qualification.
What is the price difference?
The cited prices do not support a fair direct comparison because they refer to different countries and dates. Xiaomi UK’s POCO series listing showed the X8 Pro from £429 and a displayed marketing price of £479 when accessed. Gadgets 360 listed the Edge 60 Pro at ₹30,190 in India on September 11, 2026. These figures are not comparable prices for matching storage configurations in one market.
To determine which is cheaper for you, compare the same storage tier from local sellers on the same date. Confirm the exact RAM/storage variant, warranty, seller and any bundle or adapter included. The POCO launch event was dated March 17, 2026, but that date does not establish current availability or pricing in every country.
