Pour installer AVG, téléchargez l’installateur correspondant à votre appareil depuis AVG, puis suivez le parcours Windows ou macOS. Vérifiez d’abord les prérequis actuels de votre produit et de votre système : les versions compatibles et les besoins en mémoire et en espace disque peuvent évoluer.
Avant de commencer : vérifiez la compatibilité
AVG publie les exigences minimales par produit et par plateforme. Consultez sa page de prérequis pour vérifier que votre version de Windows ou de macOS, la mémoire disponible et l’espace disque conviennent au produit que vous souhaitez installer. Une connexion Internet est nécessaire pour télécharger, activer et maintenir le logiciel à jour. Les exigences pouvant changer, fiez-vous à la page AVG actuelle plutôt qu’à une ancienne liste.
Sur Windows, AVG recommande également de mettre le système à jour avant l’installation. Téléchargez l’installateur depuis AVG et utilisez le parcours correspondant à votre appareil : le fichier Windows est un .exe, celui du Mac un .dmg.
Installer AVG AntiVirus FREE sur un PC Windows
- Téléchargez AVG AntiVirus FREE depuis AVG et enregistrez le fichier
avg_antivirus_free_setup.exe. - Lancez le fichier avec l’option « Exécuter en tant qu’administrateur ». Si le contrôle de compte d’utilisateur vous le demande, autorisez l’application à apporter des modifications.
- Choisissez une langue si l’installateur le propose, puis sélectionnez « Installer ».
- Quand l’installation est terminée, vous pouvez sélectionner « Run smart scan » pour lancer une analyse.
- Redémarrez le PC si AVG le demande. Un redémarrage peut être nécessaire pour que tous les composants fonctionnent.
Installer AVG sur un Mac
- Téléchargez le fichier d’installation Mac
avg_mac_security_online.dmgdepuis AVG. - Ouvrez le fichier DMG, puis lancez l’icône d’installation AVG.
- Suivez les écrans de l’installateur et accordez les permissions demandées. Si une autorisation est requise, authentifiez-vous avec Touch ID ou le mot de passe de votre Mac, selon ce que l’installateur propose.
- Terminez la configuration initiale en accordant les éventuelles permissions supplémentaires demandées. Redémarrez le Mac si l’installateur le demande.

AVG AntiVirus FREE et Internet Security
Les étapes d’installation d’Internet Security diffèrent de celles d’AntiVirus FREE sur certains écrans. L’abonnement payant doit être activé manuellement; suivez les indications propres à l’installateur et à l’activation de votre abonnement. Pour un problème persistant lors de l’installation d’Internet Security, AVG recommande de contacter son support et de fournir les journaux d’installation.

Que faire si l’installation échoue ?
- Vérifiez la compatibilité : comparez votre système aux prérequis AVG actuels du produit concerné.
- Contrôlez le téléchargement : vérifiez que le fichier a été téléchargé correctement; retéléchargez-le depuis AVG s’il semble incomplet ou endommagé.
- Mettez Windows à jour : AVG recommande de confirmer que Windows est à jour avant de recommencer l’installation.
- Vérifiez la présence d’un autre antivirus : AVG indique qu’il peut être nécessaire de le retirer avant de réessayer.
- Redémarrez et relancez l’installation : si le problème persiste après ces vérifications, contactez AVG Support. Pour Internet Security, joignez les journaux d’installation comme le demande AVG.
Essai d’Internet Security et facturation
Après l’installation d’AntiVirus, AVG peut proposer une mise à niveau vers Internet Security avec un essai de deux mois. Cette offre, décrite dans la FAQ d’installation d’AVG, exige un moyen de paiement; l’abonnement devient payant à la fin de l’essai sauf annulation préalable.
