The realme GT 7T lists the stronger headline battery and charging figures, while the TECNO POVA 8 Pro 5G has the higher stated refresh rate. In the India price snapshot surfaced by 91mobiles, the realme was listed at ₹39,990 and the TECNO at ₹49,999—but that is not a verified current or like-for-like price gap. Choose by the exact variant and current local price, then weigh the specifications that matter most to you.

Which phone has the stronger performance specifications?
On paper, the realme GT 7T has the more ambitious platform specification: Dimensity 8400-MAX paired with LPDDR5X memory and UFS 4.0 storage. TECNO lists a Dimensity 7400 Ultimate 5G processor, clocked up to 2.6GHz, and Mali-G615 MC2 graphics. These are manufacturer-listed components, not independent benchmark results, so they do not establish a measured gaming or app-performance gap.
If performance is your priority, compare the exact RAM and storage configuration being sold in your market as well as these platform details. The model names alone do not confirm that two listings have equivalent memory tiers.

How do their displays differ?
TECNO specifies a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with 1208 × 2644 resolution and a maximum refresh rate of 144Hz. The realme listing gives a 6.8-inch display with 120Hz refresh. TECNO therefore has the higher stated refresh-rate ceiling; that may appeal if smooth motion is a priority, although the specification alone does not show how often apps or games will use the maximum rate.
The listed peak-brightness figures are not a clean head-to-head comparison. realme advertises 6000 nits for local peak brightness under specified test conditions, while TECNO lists 4500 nits peak brightness. Because the stated measurement conditions are not shown to be equivalent, these numbers do not establish which screen will look brighter in ordinary use.

Which has the bigger battery and faster charging?
realme lists a 7000mAh typical battery capacity and 120W charging. Its India page describes the battery as dual cells equivalent to 7000mAh typical and 6850mAh rated capacity. TECNO lists a 6500mAh battery and 45W charging. By published capacity and charging wattage, the realme has the advantage.

Those figures do not determine everyday battery life or a full charge time. Screen settings, signal conditions, workload, temperature, and charging behavior can all affect real-world results; the specifications do not provide a controlled comparison of endurance or charging duration.

What camera hardware does each phone list?
The rear-camera setups are similar in headline resolution: each lists a 50MP main camera with optical image stabilization and an 8MP wide-angle or ultrawide camera. realme identifies its main sensor as a Sony IMX896. For selfies, realme lists a 32MP front camera, compared with TECNO’s 13MP front camera.
Megapixel counts and stabilization do not establish which phone takes better photos. They do not show image processing, low-light performance, video quality, or consistency across lenses, so treat the camera specifications as a hardware comparison rather than a verdict on image quality.

What about Android versions, durability, and regional differences?
The realme India product page says Android 15; TECNO’s specifications list HiOS 16 based on Android 16. A newer stated Android base is not enough to conclude that one phone will receive software updates for longer. No verified update policy for both regional variants is established here, so check the support commitments that apply to the exact model sold in your country.
realme’s India page advertises IP69 and ArmorShell protection, subject to its stated test conditions and limitations. Do not treat a protection rating or marketing description as a guarantee against damage in every situation. Regional specifications and included accessories can differ: realme’s Philippines specifications, for example, list an adapter and case in the box, but that should not be assumed for India or another market. TECNO’s specification page establishes Type-C and 45W charging, not what accessories are included in every retail package.
Is the realme GT 7T cheaper than the TECNO POVA 8 Pro 5G?
The 91mobiles comparison page surfaced India listings of ₹39,990 for the realme GT 7T and ₹49,999 for the TECNO POVA 8 Pro 5G. Those figures are a third-party snapshot, not an official price confirmation or a guaranteed current difference. The listing labels Amazon and Flipkart, but availability, seller, stock, and price can change.
Before deciding on value, check both phones in the same country and compare the same RAM and storage tier. Also verify the regional model, local warranty, seller, and current checkout price. A price difference between unlike variants—or an outdated listing—can make the comparison misleading.
Quick Recap
Which phone should you choose?
- Consider the realme GT 7T if you prioritize its listed Dimensity 8400-MAX platform, 7000mAh typical battery, 120W charging, or 32MP front camera.
- Consider the TECNO POVA 8 Pro 5G if its stated 144Hz display refresh rate is more important to you, or if its current price and exact configuration make it the better local purchase.
- Compare before buying if your deciding factors are photo quality, day-to-day battery life, charging time, gaming performance, or software longevity; the published specifications alone do not settle those questions.
