The India-market Xiaomi Redmi Note 15 5G and Infinix Note 50s 5G+ trade advantages: Infinix lists a faster 144Hz display, while Redmi has a higher-resolution main camera and an ultrawide rear lens. Their chipsets and battery capacities are close enough on paper that the specifications alone do not settle which is faster or lasts longer. A reliable current price difference also cannot be calculated from the available listings because they do not show matching configurations with confirmed live stock.
Redmi Note 15 5G vs Infinix Note 50s 5G+: specifications
This comparison covers the India 5G models, not every phone sold under either family name. Infinix’s India materials use both “Note 50s 5G” and “Note 50s 5G+”; the table refers to that India-market device. Redmi Note 15 also has a 4G version in some markets, which is not the model compared here.

The Infinix has the higher listed maximum refresh rate: up to 144Hz compared with Redmi’s 120Hz. A higher refresh rate can make supported scrolling and animations appear smoother, but the benefit depends on the modes available in settings, the app, and the content. Both phones have similarly sized FHD+ AMOLED panels, so Infinix’s headline advantage is refresh rate rather than a different display type or a major size gap.

Which phone is faster?
The Redmi uses Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6 Gen 3, while the Infinix uses MediaTek’s Dimensity 7300 Ultimate. Published benchmark figures do not establish a dependable head-to-head winner: 91mobiles lists multi-core scores of 3,167 for Infinix and 1,528 for Redmi, but does not establish common test conditions. Android Central separately reports a Redmi Geekbench 6 multi-core score of 2,894 in its review. These results come from separate reports and should not be combined into a direct ranking.
For everyday buying decisions, the chipset names identify the hardware, not how either phone performs in a particular game, app, or sustained workload. The cited figures do not provide a matched test of the two India models under the same software and conditions.

Which phone has the better cameras?
On the listed camera hardware, Redmi offers more resolution on its main and selfie cameras, plus an 8MP ultrawide lens. Infinix pairs a 64MP main camera with a 2MP macro camera. The ultrawide and macro lenses serve different purposes: an ultrawide frame captures more of a scene, while a macro camera is intended for close subjects.
Those specifications do not prove that Redmi takes better photos. Megapixel counts alone cannot establish image quality, and the available sources do not provide a direct, comparable sample test of both phones. Choose based on the lens you expect to use; do not treat the resolution figures as a photo-quality verdict.

Battery life and charging
The listed capacities are nearly identical: 5,520mAh for Redmi, as reported by Android Central, and 5,500mAh for Infinix in its official India specifications. Android Central reports 45W wired charging for Redmi; the cited Infinix specification does not state a charging speed. Capacity by itself cannot predict real-world battery life or charge time, and the available runtime comparison does not establish a shared test method.

Which one makes more sense for you?
- Consider the Infinix if a higher listed refresh rate is your priority or you want a dedicated macro camera.
- Consider the Redmi if an ultrawide rear lens, a higher listed main-camera resolution, or its 45W wired-charging specification fits your priorities.
- Compare the exact storage tier and live seller price before making a value decision. Both are listed with 8GB RAM and 128GB or 256GB storage, but the available price snapshots are not directly comparable.
