Den normalen Startton Ihres Mac können Sie in den Toneinstellungen ein- oder ausschalten, wenn Ihr Mac-Modell und die installierte macOS-Version die Option unterstützen. Apple führt die Einstellung ab macOS Big Sur 11 auf. Der Schalter ist in macOS integriert; ein zusätzliches Programm ist nicht nötig. Apple erklärt die Einstellung hier.
Startton in macOS ändern
Der genaue Menüweg hängt von Ihrer macOS-Version ab:

In den unterstützten Versionen genügt es, den Schalter „Ton beim Start abspielen“ auf die gewünschte Einstellung zu setzen. Apples Anleitung zum Ein- und Ausschalten des Starttons beschreibt die Option für Big Sur 11 und neuer.

Die Einstellung betrifft den gewöhnlichen Startton, den manche Macs kurz nach dem Drücken des Ein-/Ausschalters abspielen. Ob der Ton überhaupt zu hören ist, hängt laut Apple vom Mac-Modell und der macOS-Version ab. Ein ausgeschalteter Schalter bedeutet daher nicht, dass jeder Startvorgang bei jedem Mac zuvor hörbar war.

Pieptöne beim Start sind etwas anderes
