Exynos 1580 leads the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 in the Geekbench CPU scores and AnTuTu totals reported by both comparison sources. Those results favor Exynos in the cited datasets, but they are not a controlled, same-phone test and cannot guarantee that every Exynos-powered phone will feel faster than every phone using Snapdragon.
Benchmark results: Exynos 1580 leads in the reported comparisons
Two published comparison pages show Exynos 1580 ahead in single-core and multi-core Geekbench results as well as total AnTuTu scores. The figures below are reported by the comparison publishers; they are not fresh tests or results published by Geekbench or AnTuTu themselves.

The totals differ between comparison pages, so keep each result tied to its stated benchmark version and source. In particular, AnTuTu 11 totals should not be compared directly with totals from another AnTuTu version as if they came from the same test. These scores also do not translate directly into equal gains in daily responsiveness, gaming frame rates, battery life, or phone value.

| Chipset | Reported specification | Source and qualification |
|---|---|---|
| Exynos 1580 | Xclipse 540 GPU, described by Samsung as a third-generation custom GPU; NPU rated up to 14.7 TOPS with 2 MB of memory | Samsung Semiconductor’s official product page |
| Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 | Adreno 810 GPU | Listed by 91mobiles; not independently verified against a Qualcomm product page in the sources cited here. |
Samsung’s NPU figure is an advertised capability, not a direct measure of how quickly every AI feature will run in a particular phone. Results depend on the handset and the software using the processor.
How to interpret Qualcomm’s performance claims
In its August 20, 2024 announcement, Qualcomm said the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 offers nearly 20% improved CPU performance, up to 40% accelerated GPU performance, over 30% better AI performance, and 12% overall power savings compared with its predecessor. These are Qualcomm’s generational claims—not head-to-head measurements against Exynos 1580.

The cited results establish a lead for Exynos 1580 in those published benchmark comparisons, not a universal ranking of handsets. Phone cooling, memory configuration, firmware, power limits, and software can all affect the result a user experiences. The available sources do not establish a controlled, same-condition comparison of sustained gaming, thermals, battery life, modem reception, or overall handset experience.
For a phone purchase, assess the specific models and regional versions rather than choosing on chipset scores alone. Price, software support, display, cameras, and battery are device-level factors that these benchmark results do not resolve.
