SlashGear says the reader can read and clear trouble codes on OBD-II-compliant vehicles dating back to 1996. It reported a 4.6-star average from more than 1,400 reviews. A code reader can help identify a diagnostic trouble code, but the code alone does not prove which part has failed; diagnosis may require further checks.

The grinder uses a slide switch. SlashGear discusses slide-switch and paddle-switch operation, but the figures provided do not establish a head-to-head test or show that one control style is better for every user. Match the tool and disc to the task, and follow the applicable safety instructions.
5. Central Machinery 30-Inch Magnetic Sweeper with Wheels: collecting ferrous debris
SlashGear describes a 30-inch sweeping head and a 50-pound magnetic pull force, and reports a 4.7-star average from more than 1,500 reviews. A wheeled magnetic sweeper is for gathering magnetic metal debris from a work area; the article’s rating and pull-force figure should be treated as reported claims rather than verified current product data.

- Choose the code reader if interpreting OBD-II trouble codes is a recurring need.
- Consider the jack only if you have a suitable lifting surface and can support the vehicle safely after raising it.
- Look at the caliper set for brake jobs that call for a piston-retraction tool.
