For India-market buyers, the Redmi Note 15 Pro 5G is the stronger fit if you prioritize a larger, sharper display, more listed ingress-protection ratings, and longer advertised software support. The vivo V60e offers faster stated charging and a 50MP Eye AF selfie camera. Both specify a 200MP main camera and an 8MP ultrawide; neither has a proven overall advantage based on specifications alone.

Which phone has the better cameras?
Main and ultrawide cameras
Both phones specify a 200MP main camera with optical image stabilization (OIS), plus an 8MP ultrawide. Xiaomi lists a larger 1/1.4-inch main sensor than vivo’s 1/1.56-inch sensor. The sensor-size and megapixel figures describe hardware, not a controlled photo-quality result: they do not establish which phone takes better pictures in daylight, at night, or in motion.
Xiaomi lists 4K video recording. vivo lists 4K video and 30x SuperZoom. These are manufacturer-listed features, not evidence that the phones deliver identical video quality or usable detail at maximum zoom.

Selfies
vivo lists a 50MP front camera with Eye AF, while 91mobiles’ comparison lists a 20MP front camera for the Redmi. The V60e is the more feature-forward specification for selfie autofocus, but resolution alone does not determine how good a selfie looks.
Which display is better?
On the comparison listing’s figures, the Redmi has the larger screen and higher resolution: 6.83 inches at 1280 × 2772, versus the V60e’s 6.77 inches at 1080 × 2392. Both are listed at 120Hz. The Redmi is the more compelling specification if screen size and pixel detail are priorities.

Brightness figures are not directly comparable as a test. Xiaomi advertises up to 3,200 nits peak brightness; vivo advertises 5,000 nits peak brightness and separately lists 1,600 nits local peak brightness. The manufacturers’ differing qualifications matter, so these numbers alone do not show which screen is brighter in the same conditions.

Do the processors or battery tests show a clear winner?
The Redmi uses a MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Ultra and the V60e a MediaTek Dimensity 7360 Turbo. 91mobiles reports Geekbench multi-core scores of 2,938 for the Redmi and 2,907 for the vivo in its comparison snapshot accessed in 2026. That small difference is one publisher’s reported result, not a universal measure of speed or a guarantee of how either phone performs in sustained gaming or everyday use.

In the same 91mobiles snapshot, the PCMark battery-life results were 14 hours 22 minutes for the Redmi and 15 hours 17 minutes for the V60e. These are that publisher’s test results; configuration and test conditions can affect them, and they do not predict every owner’s battery life.
Battery capacity or charging speed: which matters more?
The Redmi’s listed 6,580mAh capacity is 80mAh greater than the V60e’s 6,500mAh. The V60e counters with 90W FlashCharge, twice the Redmi’s listed 45W charging rate. Choose based on what you value more: a slightly larger rated capacity or faster stated wired charging. The figures alone do not establish real-world screen time or charging duration.

How do durability claims and software support differ?
Ingress protection and construction claims
Xiaomi lists IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings, Gorilla Glass Victus 2, and TÜV SÜD endurance certification. vivo lists IP68 and IP69, along with Wet-Hand Touch and drop-protection features. These are manufacturer-published ratings and claims; water resistance is not a promise against all liquid damage, and it does not make either phone immune to drops or wear.
Updates
Xiaomi advertises “4 year of OS + 6 years of security updates.” vivo advertises up to 3 major OS version updates and 5 years of security updates. On the stated policies, Xiaomi offers one additional year in each category. Check the current India product pages for the policy applicable to the exact model and region before buying.

What is the price difference in India?
A reliable current price gap cannot be established from the available listing snapshot. On 91mobiles’ comparison page, accessed October 7, 2026, the Redmi was reported at ₹31,999 on Amazon, while the vivo V60e was shown as unavailable there. Other price snippets for the V60e differed, so subtracting one from the other would not give a dependable comparison.
