Broadly, yes: TCL publishes sleep-timer instructions for its Roku, Google TV, Fire TV, and Android TV models. That does not prove that every TCL television ever sold has the feature, or that every model uses the same menu. The exact route depends on the TV’s operating system, model, and software version.
Find the sleep timer on your TCL TV
Start with the instructions for the operating system shown on your TV’s home screen. TCL’s menu names and available options can vary by model and software version; if a path does not match, check the manual for your exact model.

For Roku, Google TV, and Fire TV, select a duration after opening the timer setting. TCL’s published guidance does not establish one universal set of durations for all TCL televisions.

What happens when the timer expires?
The television powers off after the selected amount of time, stopping the video or audio that is playing. If playback continues past the time you expected, check that the timer was set on the TV itself: a timer on a cable box or streaming device is separate and may not turn off the television.

If you can’t find the setting
- Confirm the TV’s operating system and follow its route above; settings are not located in the same place across TCL platforms.
- Look for an alternate label, particularly on Google TV or Fire TV, where TCL documents variation in menu names.
- Check the model-specific manual if the menu path or available choices differ. TCL notes that menus and options can vary by model and software version.
