To complete The Hedron Link in CONTROL Resonant, rescue Emily Pope in Prime Candidate Training, cross the Unknown and defeat Hedron Parallel, then return to Pope in the Oldest House lobby and finish the conversation. The route and combat tips below reflect third-party walkthroughs, not official Remedy directions or independently tested tactics.
What to do when The Hedron Link begins
PowerPyx lists The House in Distress as the prerequisite. The mission’s three objectives are to rescue Pope, sever the Hedron Link, and report to Pope.
How to find Pope in Prime Candidate Training
- Follow the sector signs into Prime Candidate Training.
- Pass the holding cells and stairwells, then continue through the High Risk Chamber.
- Follow the Director Training access tunnel to meet Pope and her squad.

From Pope’s location, proceed through the Main Test Chamber. The walkthrough describes a shifting route with floating platforms; use the available platforms to continue toward the red-carpeted Unknown and the Hedron anomaly. Treat the route as a sequence of visual landmarks rather than a fixed map path.

How to defeat Hedron Parallel
The walkthrough reports golden projectile volleys, energy beams, and a floating arena that shifts during the fight. It describes an exposed boss cluster or core as the target.
- Against projectiles: Dodge the golden volleys rather than remaining in their path.
- When beams threaten your platform: Relocate to another platform, then look for an opening to attack.
- When the core is exposed: Focus attacks on it. The guide suggests kinetic attacks against Hedron Parallel.
- Against other Hedron enemies: PowerPyx reports that they resist Raw damage, which it identifies as the basic Strike attack. The Nerdschalk guide suggests telekinetic attacks and melee bursts instead.
These are walkthrough recommendations, not results from a controlled comparison. The sources give no measured damage values, completion times, or build rankings, so there is no established best build or mandatory attack pattern.

Where to go after Hedron Parallel
After the dimensional sequence, return to Pope in the Oldest House lobby and complete the conversation. The Nerdschalk walkthrough says to confirm completion in the quest log after reporting back.
Game and platform context
Remedy Entertainment announced that CONTROL Resonant launched worldwide on September 24, 2026, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store, with physical editions available. Its release announcement calls the game “Remedy Entertainment’s most expansive game to date”—the publisher’s description, not an independently measured comparison. Remedy’s official game page also lists GeForce NOW and says Mac via Steam and the App Store will follow later in 2026. Platform availability can vary by region.
