Marvel’s Wolverine has 32 suits in its launch-period lineup: 27 in the base game and five exclusive to the Digital Deluxe Edition. Most are granted as the story advances or become available to craft with Materials; the rest require collectibles, challenge scores, a campaign clear, or the Deluxe Edition.
How suit unlocks work
Listen for Material Crates during missions: they contain the Materials used to craft suits. Sony describes suits as inspirations from comics, movies, animation, and more, and says acquiring suits also gives health upgrades. The official overview does not specify a health amount or how an individual suit affects health. PlayStation Blog’s game overview explains the crate mechanic; the complete unlock list below is reported by Push Square’s suit guide, with the special challenge and collectible requirements reported in its unlock guide.

For craftable suits, “from” a chapter means the suit becomes available at that story point; it does not mean the game grants it automatically. The guide reports that most suit crafting costs fall between 75 and 300 Materials. Check the in-game suit menu for the current availability and cost, particularly if a patch or localization changes labels.

Base-game suits and their requirements
The table follows the order reported by Push Square. Chapter names are the guide’s English labels. “Automatic” means no Materials purchase is listed for that unlock.

Digital Deluxe suits
The Digital Deluxe Edition adds five suits. Push Square reports that each is granted automatically at The One That Got Away, but these five are edition-exclusive rather than suits that can be earned in the base game.

The US PlayStation Store listing describes the Digital Deluxe Edition as including five exclusive suits, five exclusive claws, four Technique Points, early access to the Classic Brown Suit and Reflective Claws, and four PlayStation avatars. The early Classic Brown unlock is a bonus, not a sixth Deluxe-exclusive suit: it is also craftable later in the base-game progression. Edition contents and prices can vary by region; the cited US listing showed $69.99 for Standard and $79.99 for Digital Deluxe when accessed, so those figures should not be treated as universal or guaranteed current prices. Which suits require extra completion?
Most of the list arrives through story progress or crafting. If you want the unlocks that demand activity beyond the regular suit menu, focus on these:

- Midnight: find all Whisky Bottles.
- Future Fugitive: earn Gold in each of the three named Nightmare Door challenges.
- Hellverine: earn Adamantium in each of those challenges.
- Death: finish the campaign.
- Five Deluxe suits: own the Digital Deluxe Edition; these are not base-game completion rewards.
Future Fugitive and Hellverine use different score thresholds across the same three challenges, so completing them once at Gold does not satisfy the Adamantium requirement. Use the challenge labels shown in-game to confirm the score tier.
Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls suit: no Deluxe upgrade needed
The Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls suit is a progression unlock, not one of the five Deluxe-exclusive suits. PlayStation Blog announced it as unlockable through game progression; Push Square reports the specific trigger as entering the arcade during In the Shadows and the cost as 300 Materials. Game and guide scope
Marvel’s Wolverine launched worldwide on September 15, 2026, exclusively for PS5, according to Sony’s launch announcement. The 32-suit count and individual requirements here are launch-period guide information, not a live guarantee for every later patch or language version. If an unlock does not appear at the stated milestone, check the suit menu and the relevant challenge or collectible tracking in your current game version.
