If Vinted is not loading or you cannot log in, first check whether the problem affects the app, the website, or both. Then work through the fix for your device and symptom. Vinted’s US English Help Centre currently displays an undated technical-issues notice; because it has no date, it does not confirm that Vinted is down today or in your region. Check Vinted’s Help Centre for current guidance. Labels and availability can differ by country, device, and app version.
Is Vinted down today?
Vinted’s loading help page displays this notice: “At this moment, we are experiencing technical issues with Vinted platform. We’re aware of the issues and working on fixing it. We’re sorry for the inconvenience caused.” The page does not date the notice, so it cannot establish whether an outage is active now. Check Vinted’s Help Centre and test both the app and website before treating the problem as a platform-wide outage.
Try these 10 fixes for Vinted not loading
- Compare the app with the website. Open Vinted’s website in a browser. If one works and the other does not, note which one fails; that helps narrow down the issue but does not prove its cause.
- Restart your device. Close Vinted and restart your phone or computer, then try again.
- Check for an operating-system update. Vinted’s help page listed iOS 16 or later and Android 9 or later as app requirements when accessed. Requirements can change, so check the current Vinted listing in your device’s official app store.
- Update the Vinted app. Open the official app store for your device and install an update if one is available.
- Reinstall the app if the earlier steps fail. Vinted says reinstalling does not remove account information, but you will need to sign in again.
- On Android, clear Vinted’s app data and cache. In your device settings, open the apps list, select Vinted, and use the storage controls to clear its data or cache. Menu names vary by device. This step applies to Android, not iPhone.
- On a computer, try Chrome or Safari. Vinted says its website works best in those browsers.
- Clear browser cache and cookies. If Vinted still fails in a browser, clear its cached data and cookies, then reopen or update the browser and restart the computer.
- Check browser extensions. Temporarily check whether an ad-blocking or antivirus extension is preventing parts of the site from loading.
- Contact Vinted if the problem persists. Use the Help Centre and provide the error and device details listed below.
I can’t log in to my Vinted account
Login recovery depends on how you registered. Vinted lists possible causes including using a different email or sign-in method, visiting the wrong regional Vinted site, not having a password for an account created through a social login, and account-specific restrictions such as a verification request or lock.
Use the original sign-in method
Try the email address or the same Facebook, Google, or Apple sign-in method you used to create the account. If you used Apple’s Hide My Email, choose Continue with Apple; the account may be associated with an Apple private relay address ending in @privaterelay.appleid.com. If you are unsure which email is registered, avoid creating a second account and use Vinted’s official recovery guidance.

Reset a password and check for verification
If your account uses a password, select the forgotten-password option and check your inbox and spam folder for the reset message. If Vinted asks you to verify your email, follow the instructions in the app or on Vinted’s official website. Vinted says access may be restricted if required email verification is incomplete. Treat unexpected external verification links as suspicious; Vinted warns against opening links to external websites in fake verification messages.
Handle account locks and IP-block messages through support
An account restriction, phone-verification request, suspicious-activity lock, or block may need account-specific help rather than an app reinstall. An IP-block message is different from an account block: Vinted lists possible reasons such as sharing an IP address with someone whose IP was blocked, accessing from a country where Vinted is unavailable, or an IP block related to illegal, fraudulent, or offensive activity. Do not try to evade a block; contact Vinted support and include the exact message.
